Only one more week before the new episodes of season 14 continue, yay! In the mean time, here are some things you can do to kill the time ;):

* You can visit our Tumblr for a dose of Nick & Greg (You don't need to have an account to hang with the guys:)

* Take a look at the WHO ARE YOU sticky post. It's the first thing new visitors to our community see and a great place to find likeminded Nick&Greg fans to add to your friendslist.

* Make a visit to our NicknGreg YouTube account. You can find lots and lots of awesome music video's there.

WHO ARE YOU?
Inspired by a returning fan who was wondering about the state of the LiveJournal community, we moved our introduction post back up top as a sticky. We invite new fans to tell us a bit about themselves and hope everybody will CHECK THIS OUT to find new and old friends:)

There originally was an even older intro-post and several people made personal introductionposts in the past (feel free to do that as well!) - in the next few weeks we'll track those down and tag them with Whoooo Are You.

TUMBLR
Our Tumblr is still growing, we currently have 269 270 followers. We try to post at least one Nick/Greg scene every day. October will be dedicated to reblogging from our favorite fellow Tumblrs, so if you haven't already, join us for Reblogtober:)

YOU TUBE
We plan to update the NicknGreg YouTube next month. Until then you can browse through our fanvid collection and playlists, all in all there are more than 100 videos to enjoy!

FANFICTION
Of course there is also plenty of room for new stories, not only in this community, but also in our story-archives What Makes The Desert Beautiful; a treasure trove for readers.

It will be a while before we can enjoy new CSI episodes, but we will try to provide a regular dose of Nick&Greg during hiatus. We just uploaded three new vids on our YouTube Channel. As it happens the creators of these fabulous fanvideos also wrote stories back in the day, so we added links to our wmtdb-archives!

Whether you're in the mood for music or reading, there is something for everyone to investigate!

Yay, we added three videos to our YouTube:
Basketcase - a Nick vid focussing on the events in Stalker (S2) and Grave Danger (S5) made by Fieldmouse in 2005.

Am I Sexy - a Greg vid about his dancing days in the lab and his first steps out in the field, also made by Fieldmouse in 2005.

Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - a Nick/Greg vid with favorite moments by Gibson from 2006.

All these fanvideos were originally saved in the WMTDB archives, where you can still find a whole collection of fanfiction. Not only are there tons of classic stories, but the archives are also regularly updated with new fic! If you're an author, you can upload your own Nick/Greg stories: registering is free and super easy!

We'd love to enjoy all of your stories, videos, artwork and thoughts on Nick & Greg, so if you have anything to share, post it in the community! We welcome long and short stories, drabbles, screencaps, icons, wallpapers, favorite quotes, fanvids; anything Nick/Greg! Make sure to put anything related to S13 behind an LJ-cut.

Scrapbook
We're happy to say the LiveJournal Scrapbook Migration process for our community was executed with only minor errors. Out of the 1880 Nick/Greg images only 9 got lost during the move. We were able to re-upload those from our personal archives. We've also restored the broken links in the classic discussion posts that were affected. \o/

You're most welcome to browse our photo-albums if you need a visual Nick/Greg fix. You can find all the classic scene screencaps here, free to use for artwork:)

Hello y'all,

Here's an update from your friendly neighbourhood mod. As you may have noticed we didn't post a classic scene last week and we're sad to say there also won't be one this week. Don't worry: there are still plenty of Nick/Greg moments left to talk about, but due to real life being busy and computers being slow, we're forced to take a break from screencapping. We will be back:)

In the mean time we're looking for help with transscripts of memorable Nick/Greg scenes from season 11. If you happen to (re)watch that series, why not intensivy your time with Nick/Greg by jotting down what they are saying? Subtext is always appreciated;)

To keep you going during the one week hiatus of CSI, we uploaded some extra fanvids and scenes at the NicknGreg YouTube Channel! There are now over 50 wonderful videos in our collection (depending on where you're watching, seeing as YouTube is sometimes a little territorial and won't share them all over the world) You don't need to subscribe to watch (but we'd love it if you join us!)
