Hello all,

Did you enjoy our Blast from the Past fic selection? Let us know, because we plan to continue those posts when the new CSI season starts!

Today we're revealing another NEW FEATURE for you which we hope you will give feedback on: our very own Nick&Greg YouTube channel!

Below we'll give an explanation on how we collected our videos and how YOU can contribute, first we want to show you an example of one of the classic Nick/Greg videos we uploaded. Here is a golden oldie from 2004: Sunshine Superman by Kevin.

How did we find our uploaded videos?
Back in the early days of the CSI fandom, videomakers would share their fanvideos through file downloads and the mods have build quite a personal videocollection this way.
In the past few weeks we tried to track down those original Nick/Greg vidders and asked them if we could show their videos on YouTube. So far we've been very happy to get permission from kevinkr, serenity151979, nekosmuse and tanisafan. \o/
We've started uploading one or more of their videos every day.

In addition we made playlists of Nick/Greg videos we found on You Tube. We split them up into moodsets, so you can pick to watch either happy or sad songs. There is also a collection of Nick/Greg scenes. :-)

What can YOU do?
We are still going through our own archives to try and find the original video-makers, so we hope to reach more vidders to add to our YouTube channel in the next months.
If you know of people who may have lost touch with the LiveJournal community or if you are a classic Nick/Greg vidmaker yourself, we'd love to hear from you!

Of course we also love new material to share and save for future generations of CSI fans! Did you make a Nick/Greg video and want us to upload it?

If you saw or made a video that's already available on YouTube, we can put it on one of our channel's playlists to share with our community. Leave a link in the comments!

Last but not least we would love for you to subscribe to the Nick&Greg YouTube channel! (You do not need to make videos for this, simply sign up to YouTube and click our subscribe button:) We upload a new classic every few days, so if you want to keep up to date, join us!

And finally a reminder: you have about a week left to enter our Challenge for authors and artists! Deadline is September 12!! (but early admissions are more than welcome;)

We plan to go through your collection soon, these links are very helpful and we'll definitely put those Nick/Greg vids on one or more of our playlists;)

Yes, these are good scenes aren't they? I love that Kevin picked non Nick/Greg scenes to make this video, it has more variety than the usual golden oldies (Nick+glasses;) and yet is still so very much about the two of them.
