"at the end of the year" by Caroline Crane
PAIRING: Nick/Greg
RATING: PG
SUMMARY: A day in the life.

Has just been added to CSI Slash and is listed on the new stories page and the Nick/Greg page.

CSI Slash's Christmas Wish List.

Also my usual request to anyone who buys anything from Amazon.com and/or Amazon.co.uk or is planning to, could you please you my links to get to the site you're planning to shop it, before buying anything? Please? :) Yes I am trying to get both earning enough money in refferal fees to try to replace the Paypal donations, but it's slow going. (That said things have improved dramatically this month, and so long as people remember to keep using the links I have up or keep using versions they have bookmarked... :) )

S1Ep1: The Pilot
Did you know Nick & Greg worked together in the very first episode of CSI? If you've seen it, you can reminisce here. How anyone could not notice the chemistry between these guys is a mystery to us: this is obviously one of the scenes that inspired fandom. (If you haven't seen it before, beware of spoilers and screencaps behind the cut.)
Here is the whole scene and maybe some subtext: )

DISCUSS! (you may squee in the comments :-)

Are you the mood for the new season? Tomorrow we'll put up a discussion post for the first episode! Until then we hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane:) We'll take another one next week!

Hi y'all,

I have a quick question for those of you whose hearing is better than mine.

In the first series, episode 22, about 38 minutes in: Gil says something to Nick and I can't quite catch the pronoun. They've just arrested a guy for killing his ex boyfriend and Grissom says something along the lines of: "Y'know, that reminds me. ? gotta remember to take Greg Sanders to lunch. He did a nice job sniffing out those peanuts." and Nick practically beams with pride before responding "Yeah, he did."

Y'see, if it's Gil telling Nick to take Greg out to lunch (aka, a date) he's practically playing matchmaker for the pair which I find ridiculously cute. Not only is he okay with it, but he's actually encouraging the shy Texan to act on his crush.

However, I've been reading the transcript and that says "I got to remember" which would be more Gil/Greg and doesn't really explain Nick's almost blush and his grin unless he's just happy for Greg.

I ship both Gil/Greg and Nick/Greg so this little tidbit has really got me intrigued. I would love to hear your thoughts. x
