Subtext is everything

I hope I'm doing this right, I'm a bit new to the whole thing, really. I've only been here a couple months to tell the truth. But I'm not surprised by it (I'll explain later). I'm lady_sallie, the name is from one of my favorite characters from Spider Robinson's books. She's a time traveler that runs a "House of Excellent", a bit of a Lady Heather but with a heavier dose of sarcasm and wit. I have no idea how to make icons, wallpaper, banners or fan vids - I wish to God I did cause I have tons of ideas in my head for them. My main thing is writing fics, right now I only have one online for Nick/Greg, a short one shot about surprise tattoos. I have more, but I'm still picking them to pieces before they see the light of day.

Fandoms -
My main one has always been Sherlock Holmes, I have a couple fics over at fanficton and more in the pick apart file. I also Dr. Who, Torchwood, House, and Tony Stark. Remember when I said I'd explain later? Well, look at the main characters, all brilliant, smarter than all, egocentric (some of them)and misunderstood men - I think I've discovered a new fetish. Stories I've read lately - anything that's crossed my path or come over the lists. I'm a raving insomniac so I sit up and read.

Favorite scene - one word... NOODLES!!!! Everytime I open my cupboard lately I smiled cause my daughter's gotten hooked on the damn things *L*

Future - me, chained to a sewing machine and watching any of the DVD box sets I can pick up cheap at the pawn shop. I'm a costume designer and with Halloween orders and the Haunt I do every year that's where I'm going to be for the next couple months. I know we'll probably never get our wishes for something to happen on screen, but I'll keep hoping and dreaming. I'm still a baby to this whole fandom thing, but I'm hoping I learn fast.
