Are you all getting ready for the new season? We are working on some new ideas to celebrate 10 years of Nick/Greg, keep an eye out for announcements;) Until then, here are some links to check out.

August rec-theme with a twist

Hello everyone,

since the official CSI Fanfic Awards community is asking for your nominations this month, we decided to not put up a seperate rec-theme. Instead you are encouraged to find the more recent stories you like and nominate your favorites for the big awards! (Older fics are allowed if they haven't been nominated before, see Rules and Voting Regulations.)

Just to let everyone know, voting for the "What Makes the Desert Beautiful Fanfic Awards" WILL end on Sunday at midnight, central time. So if you haven't voted yet and wish to, now's your chance. Many categories are separated by only one or two votes, so vote for your favorites, and give our wonderful and deserving authors the credit they deserve for keeping our Fandom alive and Strong with "The Love"

Yes, nominations are finally over, and voting has now begun. You can see a complete list of all the nominees, Here, Nominations. Nominees may pick up their banners here also, just make sure to save them to your own web space.

Voting has now started, and to go vote and for all the rules, follow the link to WMTDB Voting Poll and you can go ahead and vote or ask any questions you may have.

Hey all, I just wanted to post this over here since this is the Nick/Greg place on LJ, and this includes all of Nick/Greg Fanfic. To celebrate our first year of running the What Makes the Desert Beautiful, we are conducting the first ever

Nick&Greg What Makes the Desert Beautiful Fanfic Awards
All of the information and categories and dates and such can be found at my LJ site, HERE. Nominations will begin on Monday November 13th and run for two weeks, then voting will begin. There will be 15 categories, and anyone is welcome to nominate and participate. We really wanted to do something special for the fandom and the fabulous talent that resides here with so many great writers. For categories and details, please click on my LJ Link and all is there.
