I'd just like to say hello. I've been around for a while but I've finally decided to get more involved. If there's anything I should do, or anything that'd help me around here, I'd love to know. I think I'll eventually post the stories I'm working on here, but... oh, well, I'm just nervous, I guess. And it'd be awesome if I could get help with livejournal just in general.

So hello livejournal! And now that I'm taking this small step out of my comfort zone just posting, I'll also try to post to the stories that I read.

Well, the name is from a Star Trek fanfic written by Blue Champagne years ago; it's an undercover Bajoran name used by Deanna Troi when she went on a mission to uncover a possible threat to Bajoran world security. The full name she used was Luma Meisaal, Meisaal of course, in Bajoran, being the personal name. It's pronounced May-sahl or May-zahl. But it sounds kind of generic, I suppose. You're probably remembering something similar; that reference is pretty obscure by now (though it was one of my favorite Trek slash stories. BC wrote good f/f as well as good m/m, m/m/f, etc. :))

Thank you! I hope you'll take a look at the better, edited version I'm creating as I go; I removed all the amateurish crap like rotating POV's and cheap, quick fixes in the narrative. And the spelling. God, the spelling. I'm atrocious. I'm so glad you like the series/story even in it's primitive version.

Sorry I'm rambling. I haven't slept in quite while, and I started getting strange a few hours ago.

It's great to have so much positive feedback, too. I mean, I didn't expect anything less, but it's still nice.
And it's so awesome that lots of my favorite writers are saying "Hi" back. ^_^
