Hey mangojunkie, about your icon--I can't tell who the woman is, I think it's Catherine--is it from the scene where they're discussing that guys are vain as hell too, and she's groping the muscle he's making and freely making lewd comments and he's responding in kind and they're both giggling about it and SuperDave walks in on them? Because I find that scene hilarious. Or is it something else?

Thanks,

Meisaal

Uh, wait, this is on topic--

I forgot to ask. I am new in the Nick/Greg world. Is there a place to nominate authors? Or their bodies of work or something, or just the story contest? If just the story contest, that's cool; I know somebody has to organize and actually do all the busywork for these things. I was just curious. (I have people in mind, of course. :))

If there were an author category, I think there should be a best non-native-English-speaker category. That takes some serious nads, writing a story in a second language. (No, Australians, you don't count. Neither do you charming Irish folks. VBG)

The CSI fanfic awards are all about the stories, although if you look at the nominees and winners of the past years, you can tell there are favorite authors in fandom. The whole list of categories is really long with all three series and all the different kinds of fic out there, I'm sure you will find a category for each of the authors you want to get recognition;)

In my opinion some non-native English speakers manage to produce fic with less mistakes than those authors who are supposed to know better. But then again: I'm not a native English speaker, so what do I know ;)
