Summary: Greg and Luke decide to move in with Nick. Warrick learns something about Nick
Nick walked up to Greg's house and pulled out a key from his pocket.
He unlocked the door and walked in.
"That was fast." Greg said, and walked up to him. He pulled him close and
kissed him.
"God, I missed you, I was going crazy." Nick whispered. He dropped his jacket to
the floor.
"Luke's recovery took longer then we thought." he said between kisses.
He pushed him back into the wall.
"Every - shit - thing okay?" Nick forced out as Greg bit into his neck.
He didn't answer as the warmth of Nick's blood filled his mouth.
He could feel his body come to life as it warmed him.
Nick took his arm and bit into his wrist.
"Fuck." Greg said, and pulled off his lovers neck.
"I want you now." he said, and licked his lips.
"I'm waiting."
Nick slid his hands down to his jeans.
He unbuttoned them and slid them down. Nick turned him around and
bit into his neck and he pushed himself into his lover.
"Oh god!" Greg cried out. He took Nick's wrist and again sunk his
teeth into his flesh. He dropped his arm as Nick pushed deeper
inside him.
"God, yes." He cried out as Nick took his free hand and worked over
him until they climaxed together. He released his neck and wrapped
his arm around him, still inside him.
"I needed you so bad." He said as his color started to return. He
slowly pulled away from him and turned Greg to face him.
Greg smiled and rested his head on his chest. They each pulled their cloths back
into place.
"Come to bed with me."
"You know I can't." Nick said.
"I could sleep with you." he said, and pulled him closer.
"You'd freeze to death. I'll go get some rest and I'll come over later, at noon.
We'll do lunch with Luke and spend the whole day together."
"Is that enough rest for you?" he asked.
"Yes, don't worry about me." Nick said as the light of the sun started to fill
the room. "See you at noon."
Greg nodded but didn't move.
"You have to let me go."
"I did." he said.
"No you didn't." Nick said He didn't want to leave but he needed to sleep.
Greg let him go and walked him to the door. He pulled him close and
gave him one last kiss.
"I have room for you and your son at my house, you know." Nick said and picked
up his jacket.
"Are you asking us to..?"
Nick smiled. "Think about it. Let me know". He looked up as
the sun slowly climbed into the sky. He covered his face and walked to
his car.
Greg laid down in his bed. He sat the alarm for 11:30 and closed his eyes.
'I hope Luke sleeps in,' he thought.
-----
Warrick backed away from the window, eyes wide. "I can't believe I just
saw that." he said, and walked away.
Warrick let himself sink down into his couch. He put his hand over his eyes.
"Warrick!" Sara almost shouted. "What is wrong?" She walked over to him.
"I just..." He stopped and looked away from her. "When is the last
time I went to his house?" He could not get the image of them out of
his head.
"It's been a long time. You haven't been over there in almost a
year." She said, wrapping her arms around him.
"Really? Are you sure?" He took her hands in his and kissed them softly.
"Yeah, I am. You haven't spent much time with him at all since us. NOt even after his accadent."
She said, pulling him closer.
He let out a long sigh and pulled away from her, and walked over to the sink.
"What did he tell you?" She asked, and followed him.
"Sorry, I can't tell you. He'll kill me." he couldn't forget that look on his
friends face.
"Yeah, right." She said, again took his hands.
Warrick looked up at her. He sighed and looked down.
"Oh... you're not kidding, are you?" She asked.
"I have never seen him look at me that way. Others, yes, right before
he... well, you know. But not to me. So I can't tell you what he
said."
"Can you at least tell me yes or no?" She smiled.
"Sara, you didn't see the look he gave me." know he know why others feared Nick so much.
"Why are you friends with him, anyway?" She walked over to the fridge
and pulled out a bottle of wine. "Want some?"
"It's complicated." Warrick said. "No. I'm fine."
"There is something else bugging you." She said as she poured herself
a glass. "What is it?"
"It's nothing." He was still unable to shake the image of Nick making
love to that other vamp.
"Warrick," she said after she took a sip. "This is good. You should try some."
"Fine, pour me a glass." He walked over to her.
"Did he scare you that bad?" She asked as she handed him the glass.
"Yeah, you could say that. I think I'm just hungry and tired." He said.
Sara nodded. "Well, I should go then." She set her glass down,
walked over and picked up her jacket and purse. "I'll.."
"Sara wait." He cut her off. "Come here and sit next to me." He
he wanted her to join him. He patted the empty spot next to him.
She set her things down and walked over to him. Pulling her down next
to him, he wrapped his arms around her.
"I just..." He started.
"You don't have to say anything." She said, and laid her head on his
chest. "I'm sure there are a lot of things you'll never be able to
tell me." Her voice was almost a whisper.
"I want to." He said.
"I know."
---
Nick fixed his hair once again and knocked on the door.
Greg pulled the door open and smiled. "You are right on time." he said.
"May I come in?" Nick asked.
Greg stepped out of the way and Nick entered the house. "Where's
Luke?" He asked.
"In the living room. He's playing a video game." Greg barely got the
worlds out of his mouth before Nick pulled him close and kissed him.
Greg pulled away and rested his head on Nick's chest.
"Did you mean what you said yesterday?" He asked.
"I did." Nick said.
"I talked to Luke and he's ok with it."
A smile crossed his face. "Really."
"Yeah. He likes you. He says you make me happy."
"Do I?"
Greg nodded and kissed him again. He ran his lips over his check and
down his neck, stopping at a vain close to his shoulder. He sank his
teeth into his lover's flesh and tightened the grip of his hands as
warm blood filled him.
Nick clenched his teeth and closed his eyes as Greg bit harder. He
leaned his head back and waited for Greg to pull away. Once he did,
Nick pulled Greg's arm up to his mouth and bit into him. He closed
his eyes as Greg's blood filled his mouth. Greg cliched his teeth together
and closed his eyes.
Did his bite hurt Nick this bad.
"Dad, are we getting lunch or should I order a pizza?" Luke called
out. The two pulled away. Greg put his hand over the bite mark and waited for it
to heal. His took longer to heal then Nick's.
"We''ll..." He looked at Nick.
"I don't care." he licked his lips.
"We'll go out." He walked down the hallway and entered the room Luke was in.
Nick was right behind him.
"Welcome home." He smiled at Luke.
"Thanks." Luke turned off the game. He took in a shaky breath.
"You look-" Nick stopped.
Luke smiled. "It's okay." He said as Nick sat down. "It's just one
more challenge for me to beat. So where are we going to eat?"
"It's up to you." Greg said.
"Mexican."
"Why am I not surprised?" He said. "You ready?" Luke nodded and his
father lifted him from the couch and placed him in his wheelchair. He
picked up his backpack and hung it on the back of the chair, then did
the same with the oxygen tank.
"How's your sugar?" Greg asked.
"Low. So let's go eat!" Luke said and moved his chair down the hallway.
"He's in good spirits." Nick said as they followed him.
"I know. I don't see how, though." Greg said.
"I can hear you guys." Luke said as he opened the door. He headed
down the sidewalk and stopped next to the car.
"To bad we can't all fit in there." He said, and pointed at Nick's corvette.
"I'll take you for a ride later." Nick said.
"Cool." He said as Greg lifted him up and sat him in the car. Luke
adjusted his feet and did the seat belt. Greg handed him the tank and
his backpack and put the wheelchair in the trunk. Nick got in and
watched as Luke removed an inhaler and took a few puffs off of it. "So
dad says we might be moving in with you."
"Yeah, I have a big place and it's pretty lonely there." Nick said.
"That is if you want to."
"You've got a pool, right?"
Nick nodded.
"And a hot tub?"
"Yes."
"Sounds good to me." He said
Nick looked over at Greg and smiled. He reached over and took his
hand. Greg parked the car and tried to pull his hand away from Nick,
but he wouldn't let go.
"Give it a rest guys. I'm hungry." Luke rolled his eyes as they
kissed. Nick let him go and Greg got the chair out trunk. He picked his
son up and sat him down in it. Nick held the door open for them. They where taken
right to a table. Greg picked up a menu and looked over it. Luke reached into
his back pack and pulled out his ipod. He turned it on and put on ear piece in.
"Don't you need to look" Greg asked and got a hand full of chips. He glanced over at Nick.
He felt bad forcing him to sit and watch them eat. Nick never seemed to mind much.
"Nope i know what I want" Luke said.
"Hi there, can I take your order?"
"I'll have the taco combo." Luke said.
"The number 12." Greg said.
The waiter looked at Nick.
"Oh, nothing for me. I didn't know they hadn't eaten yet. Just water." He said
"Your loss." The waiter turned and walked off.
"Are you okay?" Greg asked and looked over at his son.
"Yes dad, I'm fine." Luke said.
"Did you test..."
"Dad!"
"I'm sorry. You know me." Greg said.
"I'm low, but not too bad I'm at 70." He said and pointed to his watch.
"What about your O2?"
"Dad, I don't think Nick wants to hear you talk about this all day.
I mean you haven't seen him in in three months!"
Greg looked at his son.
"I'm fine. I'm at 97. So when can we move in?"
"Any time you like." Nick said and took Greg's hand. He held it tight.
"Your TV and sound Style kick ass." Luke grinned. His eyes widened as
the waiter put a plate of food in front of him. "That's a lot of
food."
"Everything look okay?" The waiter asked.
"Yeah, just fine." Greg picked up his fork.
"I can't eat all this." Luke said after taking a few bites.
"I'll help you." Greg said. His plate was already half empty.
"You've turned into a real pig lately, Dad." Luke said.
"Nick!"
Nick turned around. "Sara." He said.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Having lunch with my friends." He said and looked away from her.
"Are you alone?"
"Yes. I work across the street and I was getting hungry.
Can I join you?" She asked, then sat down.
"Sara, this is Greg and his son Luke."
"I"m Sara," she said and shook each of their hands. "I'm Warrick's girlfriend."
"They don't know Warrick." Nick said.

water and took a drink.

"I know. A lot of things have changed this past year." he stared at her.
She swallowed hard and looked away. "Well, it was nice meeting you."
She said, and stood up. " Oh I have to go; I just got paged back to work."
She walked away from the table.
"Was I not supposed to say that?" Luke asked. "I'm sorry, I didn't.."
"No, it's fine." Nick said. "That was nothing do to with you guys at all."
---
"Oh my god. Warrick, pick up the phone." Sara said.
"What?" Warrick said, half asleep.
"I can't believe what I just saw." Sara said, as she crossed the street.
"What?" Warrick said, still not awake.
"Nick with another man." She said. "His boyfriend."
"Yeah, I know. That's what I couldn't say last night." Warrick said,
and rubbed his eyes.
"I didn't know he was gay!"
"Neither did I." Warrick said and hung up the phone.
