My first CSI fic was a request for sasha_janre. She asked for Nick/Greg but there's some Gris/Greg in it too. (Crossposted to both those coms.)

With bonus Gris/Greg! >_> Because I could, and there's a point in season one where
something justÉchanges.


Greg grinned, shifted back and forth on the balls of his feet and swiveled his head
from Nick to Grissom and back again. "Pineapple juice."

"Pineapple juice?" They asked at the same time, both leaning towards the
microscope. Greg danced aside and watched as Grissom got first crack at the slide before
Nick took a shot.

"Pineapple juice, likely straight off a slice." The two older men exchanged a
glance with raised eyebrows before Grissom's face relaxed and he nodded once.

"Good job, Greg," and he was off, his face falling into that expression that meant
he was thinking so hard he couldn't hear you anymore. Nick slapped him on the back and
Greg stood a little straighter.

"Good work, Greggo," he commented, and then paused, looked down the hall
where Grissom was turning a corner and then back at Greg. "Hey, how come you're not
nervous around Gris anymore?"

"Nervous?"

"Yeah, like with the Hawaii thing. You normally freak out around him. What's
with the sudden change?" Greg shrugged.

"Nothing. Guess I just got used to him." Nick was standing very close to him and
just a bit shorter than him, hand still on his shoulder, staring intently at his face. Greg felt a
bit of a sweat coming on. Still staring fixedly at Greg, he opened his mouth as if to say
somethingÑ

"Nicky, hurry up, we've got to process the vic's stuff," Warrick popped his head
in the door and Nick closed his mouth, let go of Greg's shoulder and turned slightly.

"Right behind you, man," he said, turned once more to look at Greg before
leaving just as Catherine came in.

"Whoa, I think I just had a tropical moment," Greg blinked staring at the door.
Catherine paused.

"ÉDidn't you say that's what your mom called her hot flashes from menopause?"

"ÉUhÉ."

"Nevermind, I don't want to know. Just show me what you've got." Greg's
mouth rambled off about the seminal sample, but his mind was elsewhere.

That was weird.

Don't worry - it's very close. The site lists Nick at 5'10", and Greg at 5'10 1/5"... so you know Greg must be the one who did the measuring, and takes every chance he gets to tease Nick about it.

Love the icon Minotaurs! Is it yours or is it available to go forth and multiply??? I love the Eric/George icons, as you can tell by mine :D

The George boy/toy one is mine - not available. But the George/Eric one is made from a base by carolinecrane, go check her out, she often puts up bases for free grabbing.

Yeah, I was talking about the "You thought we were acting?" one, I so just the Eric/George ones. Not that the Boy Toy one isn't hot as hell, because who could argue with that. Thanks, I'll go and check that out!
