Not that this has anything to do with slash or Greg, but has anyone noticed in the episode "Boom" (yes, that's the Nick/Christie episode -gag-), Catherine calls Doc Robbins "David"?
but i have to say i think the hooker thing is essential enough to his canon character development that it needs to be dealt with seriously and not dismissed.
I never said anything about not taking it seriously. It's just not a character pairing I like. Besides, I can't see Christie as anyone but Billie from Days of Our Lives XD
Hahah! The one scene that I really don't like because it seems forced, is where Jack is describing what he saw through Christie's window... Nick's anger just kind of seems fake... but hey, I'm not complaining about seeing him with his shirt off!
The first time I saw it, I had no idea that would happen. LoL. I was just calmly watching and suddenly BAM! Nick's naked on the floor and rolling around with a prostitute. It was very... scarring. To say the least.
But I pretty much burst out laughing at that part with Nick strangling her. Hoo boy. Ahem.
Kinda like how George Eads played someone named Nick on Savannah. LoL. But then again, he's just... a Nick kind of guy. Except when he's being big!gay!George in public. Then he's definitely a George. :P
That's why TWoP calls Doc Robbins "the Variably-Named Coroner". It's been theorized that maybe David was originally supposed to be doing that scene or something.
I've noticed it too, but I think maybe it was sort of an almost intentional slip-up. I guess it's kind of a little known fact (based on everyone else's responses), but Robbins's name is actually Albert David Robbins. It's in the CSI Companion book. Of course, that book also has an ID card that says Dr. P. Robbins, so I guess the writers had a lot of trouble naming him =)
