A/N: Well it is Sunday =) And you get the update, since you have been so nice =) We splitted the chapter into Day and Night, since it was just too long. So this is day, and night will be posted another time =) I know we are mean =) Off to the fic now

When he woke up the next morning he had a few problems remembering where he was. Then it suddenly hit him that he had been kidnapped and held hostage by some insane guy. A cute, handsome, but still insane guy.

A few moments after he awoke he heard a light knocking at the door and Greg, nearly whispering. “You awake, Nick? Can I come in?”

Not really knowing what else to do he said ‘Yes’ and waited nervously for Greg to enter the room. Nick wrapped the sheets tighter around his already in clothed body, he watched Greg enter – clad in a smile and some ridiculous tight jeans with a white button down shirt.

“I was hoping you would have breakfast with me, down in the kitchen. We could talk about a few things; how does that sound?” Greg asked, not really waiting for an answer as he was already leaving the room again.

After 20 minutes of pacing and fretting, Nick finally made his way through the winding halls to Greg’s kitchen. He sat down at the counter. Greg was watching Nick for a while, noticing that it didn’t seem like he would eat anything of what was on the table in the near future.

“You know, these things aren’t poisoned. And I guess you must be hungry, considering that you haven’t had anything since our coffee yesterday afternoon.”

“Which turned out to be planned to kidnap me,” Nick snapped, then calmed. He didn’t want to upset Greg until he knew what he was up against. “But…thanks I’m not hungry.”

“Would you at least drink a cup of coffee? Please?” Greg begged

“What sort of coffee?” Nick asked, he could smell that it was something special.

“Iced white chocolate mocha, from Starbucks, the same you get every morning, before you go to your office. I got up 30 minutes earlier to go and get it for you.”

“You…got me my coffee?...Wait….Why do you know about me liking this coffee so much? Do you follow me around? Are you a stalker?” Nick felt his body cringe at the thought.

Greg smiled mildly at Nick, shaking his head. “No, I just pay attention. Okay, the fact that I know your favorite coffee should freak you out a bit, that was to be expected. But…no. It happens that when you go to work I am usually getting off of mine and sometimes I like to grab some coffee. We kinda cross each other’s way on coffee runs. You didn’t even notice, did you? That’s how I know about your favorite coffee. Because I paid attention. Does he know?”

Looking slightly irritated Nick asked, “What? Who knows what?”

“Michael, does he know your favorite coffee?”

“It’s none of your business if he knows or if he doesn’t. And don’t talk about him! You’re nuts you know – this following me around…”

“Okay, I did follow you every now and then. But not like a stalker. More out of interest. Okay…that still sounds slightly off. It’s not like I’m running through the streets screaming ‘Nicky, Nicky’. I’m sane, you know.”

“Yeah, that would explain why you kidnapped me. Because you’re sane. I mean everybody kidnaps someone these days, out of love. Don’t you get it? I’m taken.” His tone was harsh and sarcastic. A silence filled the room for several minutes, and it was Nick who spoke first.

“You said you wanted to talk to me. And my guess it isn’t just about coffee and Michael, is it?

“No. I … Have you ever asked yourself what life has to offer?” Greg asked vaguely.

“Excuse me?”

“Life….have you ever wondered what else is out there? Ever wondered if there’s something else you could have? If you could somehow change something – would you? Have you ever thought about what sort of adventures are out there that you aren’t experiencing?”

“No.”

“Liar. You did, everyone wonders every now and then if there is anything else out there. Something exciting – something that he wouldn’t have dared so far to explore.”

“So, what has this to do with me?”

“First, you answer the question.”

“Well, you already did it for me I guess. But okay, yes. I sometimes wonder if… maybe there is something that I could be doing that I’m not… Something – I don’t know.”

“Ever thought about breaking free?”

Nick looked at Greg for a long moment, searching his face for any indication what he was up to, but finally gave up. “Maybe,” he said softly.

Greg’s smile widened immensely. He picked up a peach and bit into it before continuing.

“What if I offer you to break free from your mundane life? Without any small print. What do you say?”

“No, that’s what I say.”

“Why?” Greg wondered.

“Why not?”

“I offer you the chance of escaping whatever you’re in right now. For a limited time.”

“A limited time?” Nick asked. And with that, Greg knew he had Nick’s interest, otherwise Nick wouldn’t have asked. Now he just needed to convince Nick to stay. He didn’t really want to force him, wanted him to make the decision, at least a bit.

“Yeah, your boyfriend is out of town for two weeks. I’ll offer you to stay with me, for two weeks.”

“I don’t know if this would be good. I don’t think that would work.”

“Why? Your boyfriend’s out of town, you don’t have any duties and it won’t hurt you. I promise. What is there to loose?”

“You remember when you asked me for a coffee, or told me you would like to invite me for one? And you said ‘What could possibly happen? It’s just a coffee.’? Well, look where am I now.”

“Well, if that’s how you think about it, okay. You’re free to leave. I’m not going to force you to stay with me. Feel free to go if that’s what you wish. Otherwise I’ll offer you two weeks that could change a lot,” Greg said, fighting to keep his calmness.

But Nick got up and made his way to the door. Shortly before he reached the exit of the kitchen he heard Greg speaking again.

“You really wanna leave a five million dollar mansion and the offer to get pampered and spoiled for the next two weeks? A chance to get a view into a world that most people would kill for getting a sneak peek in? An offer to expand your horizon and taste the sweet side of life?”

Nick stopped in the doorway and froze. Greg’s last words had obviously had a real affect on him.

“You really wanna turn the offer down? What’s there to loose? It would be just two weeks. Nothing more. After two weeks you go back to your old life, your friends, your job. It’s up to you to decide. But I want to tell you one thing…either you leave now for good or you stay for these two weeks. No turning back in the middle of it.”

“What’s in it for you? Why are you so keen on having me around? I’m with Michael. I’ll never leave him. Never. Because I love him too much to do anything about your so-called feelings for me and I’m not about to cheat on him either. So what do you want?”

“Well, I just want you around. If I can’t have you, I’d like to spend at least a bit of time with you. I’m not going to tell you after these two weeks, ‘Okay now leave him.’ I’d just like to spend some time with you. Pamper you a bit. Say yes…cause I know you want to.”

Nick thought about it, and he had to confess it was tempting. 2 weeks here, being spoiled was starting to seem like a pretty good deal – it wasn’t as if he really did have anything to do – and it didn’t seem that Greg was out to harm him in any way. And finally he said yes, evoking a huge smile from Greg.

“Well then, I guess you should send your secretary a message, so she won’t get all worried. Let her know you’re feeling stressed, and that it had been too much work lately. You need a break and that’s why you decided on taking a vacation, for two weeks, going camping in the mountains.”

“Why not tell her I’m with a friend?” Nick wondered.

“Because, if your beloved boyfriend comes back earlier and wants to know where you are he’ll probably will go all terror on me. And that I definitely don’t need.”

It seemed logical to Nick – at least at that moment.

He sat in front of Greg’s laptop and started typing the email to his secretary, explaining to her that he wouldn’t be around for the next two weeks since he decided on going camping, to relax a bit and for recreation.

When he was done he clicked the send button, closed the computer, and went back to search for Greg. He still couldn’t really understand why Greg would offer him such thing like staying for two weeks at his place and getting a bit pampered, but he couldn’t see anything that Greg could want for being so generous. He didn’t seem like someone who would force him into something he wasn’t willing to give, such as sex, so Nick wasn’t as scared any longer. Nick couldn’t explain it, but somehow Greg had something relaxing. He seemed very laid-back and easy going. The fact he was a kidnapper still didn’t sit entirely well, but overall, it could have been far worse.

The day was spent as any idly vacation would have passed – swimming and chatting. Nick was careful to dodge any specific questions, and remained wary of Greg’s lusty glances at him in swim trunks. And Nick found that the view of Greg wasn’t so bad after all.
