Woot! I just got an email from LJ letting me know that they've transferred maintainership of nickngreg to mangojunkie. We've got an actual mod, now! Yay! Can't wait to see what she's got in mind for any additions/improvements to the community.

Well, I think she's the one who first wrote to LJ Abuse, so that's probably why they gave it to her. Plus, she's way more active in the community than I am.

I just agree with wojo62 that... honestly I would love to have you as a co-mod or something like that. Since you put in as much effort as me *if not even more* it would be just fair, and you're a member at LJ since quite a long time now, so it would definitely help to have someone on board to just know more than I do right at this moment. And of course you're into N/G quite a bit longer than I am and probably know more users in 'person'. Let me know what you think.

Also, I'm a mod myself and I can tell you is so much better to have a co-mod! Actually, more than 1 would be just perfect-, so that you could sort of share "duties", such as deleting unpleasant posts (we all know, don't we?) and you can take turn if one is on vacation or has connection down for a while or all sorts of causes.
