Jan. 1st, 2005 11:57 pmHi! this is my first post, I think it sucks, but that's just writer critisism I guess. It's not my best, but this is what you get for writing just after midight!
Title: Untitled (for now)
Fandom: CSI:
Pairing :Nick/Greg
Rating: G
Summary: Greg is feeling lonely at Warrick's New Years Eve party
At 70 seconds until midnight, Greg realised that he was alone. At 60, he watched Grissom and Sara get up and walk to a corner. At 55, he watched Catherine scoot closer to Warrick. At 50, he watched Mrs. Robbins fetch Dr. Robbins another beer. At 45, he wondered how Hodges got a date. at 25, he realized he spent twenty precious seconds thinking about Hodges. At 15, he made his way toward the other side of the room and at midnight, he excused himself to the bathroom.
There he sat on the edge of the tub, thinking about how much had happened in the past year. He had been given the chance to be in the feild, to finally get out of the lab. He had finally figured things out in his love life, and they couldn't be better. But the fact that he couldn't really tell anybody about it hurt him. True both of their jobs were at stake, but he wanted to be truthful, with everyone. Just as he was thinking this, there was a knock at the door.
"You in there G?"
"Yeah door's open."
Slowly, the door opened and the object of his thoughts strode in.
" What are you doing in here? I thought you'd left."
"Nope. Still here." He replied as he got up to wrap his arms around the strong Texan's body, "You know I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to you."
"I know, but I was paranoid." He lifted Greg's chin up to look at him, " So why are you in here at midnight?"
" I was lonely, and didn't want to ruin anyone else's night."
"Yeah right. Look Greg, I know you want everyone to know about us, but I'm not ready. But you know that I love you, and that's all that matters to me right now. I don't need their approval to love you." And with that he leaned down to capture Gregs lips in a gentle kiss. "Happy New Year Greg, I love you."
"Love you too Nick. Now lets go home, the party's not over yet!"
I can write endings very well, sorry.

Date: 2005-01-02 02:18 pm (UTC)And I am sure that if you wrote more you'd get better and better.
See, it would have taken me days or weeks to write that.. couldn't compose a story to save my life.
But I think with some practise you could write longer and more elaborate stories. =)
