Summary: Written for vash_donutangel, with the prompts "lightspeed, dinner plates, songbird" and a time limit of 5 minutes.

Nick walked into the small condo he shared with Greg, grinning at the sound of Star Wars on the TV. Han Solo's infamous, "Make the jump to warp speed," comment was followed by Greg's complaining the correct term was "lightspeed" or something. If there was one thing Nick loved, it was Greg's predictability when it came to critiquing films.
He'd brought home Thai food for dinner, some super spicy noodle and veggie dish Greg loved, something less heartburn inspiring for himself. Since Greg didn't realize he'd returned (the other man was too busy yelling at the TV to have heard the door,) Nick dished the food out onto dinner plates and carried it into the living room.
Greg kissed him hello, mumbled something obscene about Princess Lea and Cinnabon, then went to get some beer. When he sat back down, both beers were opened and he sat back to relax, muting the TV.
"So, you get that guy to cop to the murder?"
"Yeah, G. Once we told him we had evidence and DNA, he sang like a little songbird for us. We got him nice and neat, all wrapped up in a bow."
"Whoa. You did bondage without me? I'm hurt."
"Keep it up and you'll be gagged..."
