csi100 Revelations challenge

AN: This actually follows my drabble for the Buffy titles challenge, Smashed. Cross-posting tocsi100, my lj, and csi_slash.
“Did I do anything stupid last night?” Nick asked, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. Bending over intensified his headache, and he began massaging his temples.
“Other than repeatedly telling me you loved me? Not really,” Greg smirked.
Nick froze.
“I what?” He tried to sound casual.
“Oh yeah, you were quite amorous.”
Nick began to panic. He was always too truthful when he drank, but he never thought he would admit his feelings for Greg.
“You were all ‘I love you, man!’” Greg mimicked.
Realizing the context of his ‘revelation,’ Nick relaxed. His secret was still safe.

“Huh,” Greg said as he watched Nick leave the break room. He didn’t know what to make of the little conversation they’d just had. Greg may not have made CSI yet, but he was observant enough to notice Nick’s look of panic when Greg told him what he’d said the night before.
He had just wanted to rag on Nick a little, but Nick’s response was interesting, like he thought he’d really professed his undying love for Greg, and why would he ever think that? Unless… but Greg couldn’t allow himself to think about unless, he couldn’t afford to hope.
