Hey all, I'm new and I come bearing fic.I've been watching this community for a while and reading all of your wonderful fic.

After finally seeing Grave Danger on t.v tonight - Australian programming SUCKS! We only got the first half and have to wait until next year to find out what happens. That is; everyone else does, I make sacrifices to the Limewire g-ds daily becuase I've seen it :)

Anyway, after seeing it, I finally got up the courage to post this - it's got nothing to do with Grave Danger, just a short little ficlet I got into my head whilst doing a science exam, of all things.

Title: Envy

Rating:  PG

Summary: Nick has a little jealous moment. Greg reassures him

Nick, Sara and Greg were investigating a scene where rival gangs had ended up in a gunfight. Luckily, they were left with only two bodies, but many bloodstains and bullet casings to process.

Sara picked up a bloodstained shirt. "I think they used it to mop up the blood after the first guy was shot." She wrinkled her nose.

"Jeez, do you think the guy used enough aftershave? I can smell it on his shirt even over the blood."

Greg sniffed the air and smiled slightly."Hey, do you remember Matt?"

At hearing the name, Nick stiffened but busied himself with some glass shards from a window, trying to hide the fact that was eavesdropping on the conversation.

Sara seemed to be going over a list in her head. Finally she said "The guy you were with before Nick, right? The bartender?"

Greg nodded. "He used to wear this. I loved it, it used to turn me on every time I got a whiff of it." He smirked. "Made life interesting when I had to go buy perfume for my mother. The lady at the perform counter thought there was something wrong with me."

At this Nick squared his jaw and stalked away. Tension was outlined in his shoulders when he walked. Sara stared after him as he walked over to check the laptop a few feet away. "What's up with him?"

Greg grinned, looking over at Nick, who had turned his back on them. "He just gets upset when he thinks of me being with another guy. Wants me all to himself." He turned to Sara. "I mean, who wouldn't?"

Sara just rolled her eyes. "Well, fix it. I don't want to be around Grumpy Nick all day."

Greg grinned. "Don't worry, I know just what to do."

He walked over to where Nick was still fiddling with the computer, leaned over and wrapped his arms around Nick's waist from behind, resting his chin on Nick's shoulder. It was a familiar position - Greg loved hugs.

Nick struggled against him.  "Greg, we're at a crime scene. Anybody could see us."

"This case isn't hot anymore, Nick. Sara's the only one here, and she knows. Now lets play the game we play when you get jealous."

Nick sighed angrily, but stopped struggling."You know I hate this game."

"I don't care. Question: Who loves you?"

Nick shook his head. "I'm not doing this. I'm not jealous, Greg."

"Bullshit. Your hand's been clenching at that pen for the past five minutes. And you know the rule. If  you act like a child, you..."

"...Get treated like a child."

Greg nodded. "Exactly. Now, who loves you?"

Nick sighed and gave in. "You do."

"Who thinks you're the hottest man to ever walk our great earth?"

"You do."

"Who shares his home, his bed and his life with you?"

"You do."

"Who is so madly, desperately in love with you that he can't go a full minute without thinking about you?"

"You."

"Who never ever thinks about...any other guys?" He had been going to say Matt, but he figured it would be easier not to rock the boat.

"You."

Greg smiled and let his voice drop. "Who loves to suck your cock?"

Nick swallowed visibly. "Y..you do."

"Who loves take your cock deep and hard?"

Nick's hand clenched compulsively around the pen again, knuckles turning white and a flush spreading from his face to his neck and ears.

"Y..you do."

Greg grinned. He loved how easy it was to get Nick all hot and bothered with some relatively tame dirty talk.

He leaned down and took Nick's earlobe into his mouth, sucked gently. Nick gasped and tried to suppress a quiet moan.

Greg smirked. "Good boy." He whispered, letting his warm breath brush Nick's ear as he stood up, walked over to Sara and held his hand out.

She sighed and placed a twenty dollar note in his hand. He grinned evilly and tucked it away. 

"I told you I could get him hard at a scene."

This was so damn cute! It just figures that Greg would look like he was doing something sweet and being nice and then turn around and make it dirrty and get paid for it! Yeah, I think that's Greg in a nutshell - cute and innocent but sexy at the same time.

I think the from-behind hug is one of the cutest positions for a couple to get themselves into. It just makes me smile, for some reason. I had to put it in.
