Hi I'm getting into reading Nick/Greg fics and was wondering if someone would be nice enough to suggest some fics for a first timer I'd like to read some long and plot fill fics can anyone point me in the right direction thanks in advance Tay

I have to say, the number one rec fic, is Geekwriters "One Good Man", It's a multi chapter, casefile/ nick and greg first time/ established relationship fic. It can be found at the usual places, what makes the desert beautiful, I thinki it's at csi-forensics.com as well.

You should be careful about scrolling up in that post though, if you don't want any spoilers for the movie Serenity (I linked to the cut where I talked about the recs, so you should be ok if you click the link).

Both lists are incomplete, and don't encompass the whole awesomeness of this pairing, but they're at least a good place to start. I've also *self-pimpage* written some fics myself. You might want to check them out on my site when you're finished with the recs.

I echo everyone else's fic recommendations, and definitely read "One Good Man"---gah, I've read it a million times and I love it more with each reading.

I also had to comment on your icon----I have that same image (except Tigger's face is close to Pooh's) tattooed on my ankel. My ex always says that the tiger is getting a piece of that bear!

If you wanna read some of the best Nick/Greg stuff out there, you definitely gotta check out carolinecrane's stories which you can find here (http://nickandgreg.com/desert_archive/viewuser.php?uid=1). I especially recommend her longer ones All The Way To Paris, Sweet Cool Water, Lock and Key and At the Hour of Death (in this order!), though all of her fics multi-chapter as well as 1-chapter-only are so damn worth reading!

I'd also recommend geekwriter143's One Good Man (http://www.csi-forensics.com/viewuser.php?uid=22).

Well, looks like everyone's already recommended everything I would. I'll just re-itterate that geekwriter143 is my favourite, so anything by her, especially One Good Man. Oh, and Not Even Poets (which isn't done yet, but is still fabulous).

Well you've already got ten people telling you to read geekwriter143's stuff, and you certainly should because it's fabulous. As is everything by carolinecrane, but I'll recommend something else. It's Dealing (http://www.livejournal.com/community/nickngreg/130190.html) by acroarcs. That link is to the fourth and final chapter in the story, but it has links to the beginning three as well. I'd also recommend Lone Star (http://www.livejournal.com/community/nickngreg/279480.html) by the same author, but it's a work in progress and I know some people don't like reading unfinished fic.
