A/N: Ficlet mood!!

Greg picked up his phone, but before he could say anything, a hurried voice spoke.

“Greg, get me out of the closet!” Nick spoke loudly.

“Get you w-what? I thought…” He was somewhat shocked. “Are you sure?”

“Of course I’m sure!” The CSI sounded a bit angry.

Hadn’t they agreed they weren’t going to do this?

A million thoughts about what could have possibly prompted this conversation ran through Greg’s mind, but he couldn’t see any way out of doing what Nick said, especially with him able to hear every word that was spoken. Shrugging his shoulders, he turned to Catherine, the only other person in the break room.

“Hey, did you know that Nick is-”

“Not that closet!” The voice sounded very angry and rushed.

Greg froze mid-sentence.

“I’m in the supply closet near the break room, and the door locked behind me!” Nick spoke up quickly.

“Okay, I’ll be right there.” Greg muttered before hanging up. He stood and made towards the door before Catherine spoke up.

“What were you saying?”

“Oh, I was just wondering if you knew that Nick is getting this Thursday off,” he lied nonchalantly, as if he hadn’t just almost outed his lover.
