To show the progress of the Nick/Greg dynamic in canon, I plan to post scenes from the last couple of seasons every week on a regular basis. It's not meant to be a recap of the episode (If you need a reminder of the cases, you can find a extended synopsis here), but it's more a Cute Scene Investigation. Let's call it evidence of subtext in pictures. I hope to convince non-believers of the chemistry and inspire authors and artists to take the story further;)

Since I'm working on the Nick/Greg Hairguide for Season 5 at the moment, the first episode I have examined is Viva Las Vegas. Remember that one? ( Greg is so very happy at the beginning... )

So what do you think? Why is Greg glaring at Nick in Scene 2? What's the status of their relationship at this point?

I know there are a lot of grave danger and post-grave danger nick/greg centric fics, but are there any about nick saying something about greg on the tape and like greg hearing it or other people hearing it(besides grissom and archie)?
