Intro and obviousness

Hi all,

Just a quick intro from me. I’m pretty new to the whole Nick/ Greg thing but I really do like the whole concept. :) I’m sure this is not the first time it’s been mentioned but WOW! I was watching Felonious Monk last night (for the first time since it aired here in Australia) and that whole scene with Greg and Nick in Grissom’s office- could the UST be any more obvious? It was very much “I know exactly how close you are to me and I like it.” Major sparkage.

I’ve also read a couple of the CSI novels (Cold Burn and Double Dealer) over the weekend and I’m positive that Max Allen Collins is a secret Nick/ Greg fan. Nick is about the only person that Greg interacts with and there was touching and definite nervousness between the two. :)

A/N: A long time ago I wrote a Nick story called The True Story of What Was, exploring Nick's pre-CSI past. I started this story shortly after and I was really wrestling with it, trying to make it as spare and cold as the Nick version was. Then I realized that Greg's childhood wasn't spare and cold, so the style was just going to be different. This is only the first half of it. If you've read my story "One Good Man" you'll recognize some of my original characters, but this is an alternate universe to that story--the names and relationships are the same, but the way they turn out isn't.

Uh...So yeah. I'm new. Heh, obviously. Anyways, I was waiting for my muse to come back (she went on vacation), so I could make a post saying "hi I'm new. I have a story!" But she wasnt' coming back, and wasn't coming back, so I had to make do with out her.

Hi. I'm new. I have a story! I haven't written CSI slash before, but I've written other slashy goodness. I'm usually much better at the angst, but I'm just not in an angsty mood (obviously). Soooo I wrote a quick dialogue-only Nick/Greg. To my weird sense of humor (and my sister's as well), it's funny. So...*crosses fingers*
