Nick/Greg fic - Strawberry Cream 1/1

csi_freak15) said, "Why did my dad have to give me a cream cake? I'm covered in it and my fingers are sticky!" She let me run away with that fic idea and, well, here it is!

Strawberry Cream
“These things are so messy, Nick,” Greg complained.
“Since when were you a neat freak?” Nick shot back.
“We’re in public. I don’t like being covered in cream in public.”
Nick pointed down at his own cream cake. “I can eat mine normally.” He pointed at Greg’s. “You, on the other hand, ripped yours apart. And it would help if you used a fork, not your fingers.”
Greg stabbed a piece of cake with his fork and held it up, examining it. “I don’t even know what I’m eating.”
Nick sighed and glanced around the little coffee shop. “It’s like a sponge roll that they fill with strawberry cream and sprinkle with powdered sugar. It’s my favorite dessert.”
“I don’t like strawberries.”
“You haven’t even tried it yet.”
For once in his life, Greg was speechless. Nick had caught him there. The Texan gave him a smug nod and Greg shrugged his shoulders and popped the piece into his mouth. He chewed it for a second with a curious expression on his face.
“Well?”
Greg swallowed. “It’s good. I guess.”
“You guess? Come on, man, they’re only the best dessert I’ve ever had.”
The blonde tried another bite. “Oh, wow. They are good.”
Nick smiled and finished off his plate, light pink cream and powder scattered on his plate. He watched Greg lick a sticky finger clean and a mischievous idea formed in his head.
Greg was enjoying another piece of cake when he suddenly felt something warm and gooey hit his face.
“What was that for?” he gasped, reaching up to wipe it off.
Nick leaned over the table and knocked Greg’s hand away. “So I can do this,” he whispered, and he slowly licked the cream off Greg’s cheek. Nick sat back in his chair with a satisfied grin.
Greg was speechless, his mouth hanging open as a piece of cake slipped off his fork.
