Only one more day until our guys go back to work: are you ready for a new season of CSI Nick & Greg?
Before canon returns, we have one final fandom SURPRISE for you and it's a BIG one! There still is a lot of work that needs to be done -and we sure could use your help to get it right- but even though it's not completely ready yet, we are happy to announce that... What Makes The Desert Beautiful is BACK online!
You can now find the classic archives at www.nickandgreg.net. It's the version from June 2009, so the latest stories are not up there yet, but for those of you longing for good old fanfiction, the treasure trove is open:)

We're currently working with the maintainers to clean up the archives. We want to strip the site down to fiction only, to have a manageable bandwidth and keep the costs down. Nevertheless: to keep it up and running we need your HELP!

As shacky20 explains below, she is still currently the maintainer. At the moment we are working together behind the scenes to clean things up. When that's all done, the plan is to share responsibility with more people so the existence of the site does not depend on one person. (If you want to help out, we will welcome you with open arms;)

I still currently have it.... I know this is no excuse but RL has been pretty rough the last couple of years, but now we've all finally gotten settled, moved, Jacob taken care of and settled, new house, my hubby (almost) healthy so hopefully we've back on track.

I cannot apologize enough for the site going down, but I really wanted to get it up and going again, so was thrilled with the opportunity to get it done. Unfortunately I know very little about running websites, so either I will have to find some help or get a crash course in site maintainence.....

I hope you all enjoy the fic again, and again, so sorry it all happened, really am... I'll make sure it doesn't happen again....

wow, the site is back, finally, i bette find my notebook, where i have written the stories from th site, so to keep up which one i wanted to read, i hope i still got it, have moved since last time i read one of the stories, and cross that one out in the notebook=/
