The mods keep trying to contact the maintainers of What Makes The Desert Beautiful. We were assured the stories are not lost but don't know when the archive will be online again. We'll let you know if there is more news.
In the mean time, you can hopefully get your Nick/Greg fanfic fix in either one of the story collections mentioned here (http://nickngreg.livejournal.com/1300769.html) (The Nick/Greg section in CSI Slash (http://chance.popullus.net/csislash/nickgreg.html) is regularly updated:)
