Title: Death Trap
PG, 187 words
A little double drabble (drobble?), inspired by some stupid commercial.
Author's Note: Inspired by some stupid little commercial. Humour me though. But it's probably more funny to me since I've had a bottle of wine anyway.
“So which one?” Greg whined, staring at Nick.
“I already told you, I don’t care.” Nick replied, leaning
against a neighboring shelf. “It makes no difference to me. Can you make a
decision already so we can go? You know I hate shopping. I don’t shop…”
“I know, I know. You don’t shop. You can’t call it that. You
wear something until its dead and then you hunt down a new one. You wander
through the mall going ‘Me want shirt’, when you find one you grab it. ‘Shirt
dead now.’ And then you drag it back home and watch TV.” With a sigh, Greg looked
pointedly at his boyfriend. “Come on, just a little input here that’s all I’m
asking and then I’ll take you home and fuck you senseless alright?”
“Get what ever colour will make you the happiest; even if it’s
pink.” He replied wearily. “It’s just a vacuum.” He mumbled under his breath; but
he had still heard him.
Greg glared him, “It’s not a vacuum; it’s a Roomba.”
Pinching the bridge of his nose, Nick sighed heavily. “I’m
not gonna make it…”

Date: 2005-06-10 07:01 am (UTC)Pink is getting kind of over. I am noticing lots of bright blue, and lots of non-pride related rainbow stuff, but I spend 40 hours a week in the mall so I am a retail-trend dork. I would own a pink roomba if I didn't think my cats might kill it.

Date: 2005-06-10 10:18 am (UTC)Those are the funniest lines I've read in a really, really long time. Of course, it's 3 in the morning and I'm sleep deprived, but they'd still be really funny even if I was well-rested.
