S2Ep16 Primum Non Nocere
The follow up to last week's classic; once again the guys are not alone, but watch how Greg still finds a way to get close to Nick;) Greg in his wacky labrat-mode getting on Nick's nerves, it's one of our favorite combinations *g*

Greg is looking at an eyechart when Nick walks in.

GREG: Just getting into the mind of a potential killer.

WARRICK: Potential killer?
NICK: Why don't you just catch us up there, boss?

...your contact lens was worn by a near-sighted person.

[OS] GREG: And since I was born with perfect eyesight I'm experimenting with what it would feel like to be near-sighted.
{We love how Nick sighs and rolls his eyes, but indulges Greg's elaborate explaining until Warrick breaks the spell;)}

WARRICK: Don't tell us you're wearing our evidence.
NICK: Come on, Greg.

GREG: Give me some credit.

GREG: Borrowing a pair of lenses from Archie in A/V.

WARRICK: Mannitol-- that's that baby laxative used to cut heroin with.
NICK: China white?

GREG: The GSMS does not kid around.

[OS to Warrick] NICK: West coast heroin is Mexican Brown. 20, 30% pure, tops.

GREG: Uh, your sample's 91.

This labscene made us think of a moment in S3Ep10 High and Low, when Greg is the one being pissy, but also finds an excuse to touch Nick (he is always so smooth;) Which moods do you prefer on either of them?
(Other comparisons are welcome too: we always love talking about Greg's funky hair - we really get to see it from all angles in this scene!)

Nick: "Wow, where did all our slashfans go, G?"
Greg *bites lip*: "I don't know, they didn't even squee over my awesome out of control faux mohawk! I'm scared, hold me?"
Nick: "Sure thing, babe." *Hugs tight*. "Maybe they just prefer the moments we spent with no one else but the two of us. They'll be back next week, when we reminisce about some alone time in the lab."
Greg: "Promise? I'm worried they found other *whispers: younger* guys to worship..."
Nick *wide eyed* "Dammit, I hadn't thought of that. Hey, at least we'll always have each other". *clings*

And don't worry about getting old, it just means your more experienced.

As to the discussion -

Nick being pissy is okay, but Greg being pissy is like ticking off a furry kitten. Even though you know it's gonna get you back eventually *usually at night, when you're just about asleep) they're just too damn cute to not keep messing with. I think Nick sees this in Greg, too. He sure seems to enjoy tormenting him at times. =)

Sounds like it'd be more dangerous to piss of Greg, although he seems not as threatening as Nick... (and indeed almost cute when growling)

Again with the "make hiddenmuse want to play with Greg's hair" screencaps!! Not that it's a bad thing - his hair just looks so soft, and so... pettable.

And oh yeah, Nick looks pretty yummy as well. Can I just sit and watch the two of them make out for my amusement? Please?

*evil grin* Greg's hair does look especially rufflable here, doesn't it? (totally a word;) The back of his head makes me giggle (with fondness of course)

If you click on #13 you can see what not even full on touching does to Nick. I can only imagine how flustered he would get if Greg actually made out with him right there in the lab :-D

Ruffable - I like that word! :-) And yes it does... very much so.

It's quite amusing to see how Greg just brushing past him can leave him feeling just a twee bit flustered inside. I'm sure that he'd be knocked on his ass if Greg just laid one on him right in the lab. (Speaking of... I had a dream last night that I was kissing Greg's neck and ear while he was trying to present something to the CSIs. In the middle of my getting *him* all flustered and stammery, Nick comes around to take over and tells me to go over to Greg's other side. That's all that happened, but oh the joys of codeine cough syrup...lol)
