Title: “Reflections”

Summary: Nick reflects on his relationship with Greg

A/N: This is my first attempt at writing this particular pair. I hope everyone likes it.

 

 

 

Nick rolled over and lay watching Greg sleep. He couldn't help but smile

as Greg turned over and sighed. Nick marveled at the fact that Greg was still

here after it was all said and done. God knows it hadn't been easy, but then

again nothing worth having ever was.

 

When Nick finally realized that what he felt for Greg was the real thing, he wasted no time in letting Greg know how he felt. Greg, on the other hand, wanted reassurance and proof that it was real. Nick did everything he knew to do to help Greg see that what he felt was real, and in the end, it all worked out. Nick knew that no matter what, it was worth it.

 

Nick sincerely hoped that he made Greg happy. He couldn't face the thought of not having Greg in his life, and knew that he would do everything in his power to make Greg happy and not regret being with him. All he knew for sure is that Life was definitely worth living now that Greg was by his side, and he wanted to keep it that way.

 

There were so many things Nick loved about Greg, from his smarts, to his sense of humor, to his crazy hair and loud clothes, to his scent (cinnamon), to those coffee-colored eyes, to the sounds he made when they made love, to....well, you get the picture. There really wasn't much about Greg that Nick didn't love.

 

Yes, Nick Stokes considered himself a very luck man indeed. Who wouldn't with a man like Greg Sanders? That's why Nick grinned when he realized that Greg was awake and looking at him. Greg cocked one eyebrow at him and Nick said, “Mornin', sunshine.....”

Thank you so very much. This really means a lot to me. I've written Nick/Gil, and for CSI:NY, I've written Don/Adam, and Don/Mac. I've never written anything really long, or elaborate. I stick to what I call "slices of life" or semi-drabbles. Thank you again for your kind comment. Jaxson ;)

This is really good Nick and Greg. I’m so glad you decided to give them a try.

“Slice of Life” fics are some of my favorites. It’s these small glimpses of life that round out the characters and make them believable.

And how appropriate that I should be drinking coffee with cinnamon while I read this.

You have Nick/Gil in the header but this is Nick/Greg.

That's because I've written Nick/Gil for so long, and just recently branched out into Nick and Greg. Just goes to show I need to slow down and pay better attention......Sorry about that! Jaxson ;)
