The return of the khaki pants!

While I was collecting screencaps for a picspam of Nick's khaki pants from S11Ep8, I also saved some other pretty moments from that episode, that I love to share with you*. (It's mostly close ups, so not connected to the case, if you're worried about spoilers;)

Is it just me, or is Greg's hair a lot lighter than usual? I mean, obviously TPTB aren't too good about picking character hair *points at Nick*, but I was finally growing fond of Greg's darker 'do.
On another note, no, I don't think it's his typical ring either. This one looks smaller, and didn't he always wear that one on his middle finger (as opposed to his ring finger?)?

Not just you: I think Greg got some highlights after Nick shaved his head again;)

According to my icon that big Texan ring was always on his ringfinger, but up until Stalker in S2 Nick wore a smooth ring on his middle finger:

I think it might just be the length/style combined with the lighting in these shots that makes Greg's hair look lighter, but I haven't seen the episode so I can't be sure.

Well, I don't know if you want to actually study the hair before you can watch the episode, but I posted additional screencaps here (http://community.livejournal.com/nickngreg/1460151.html) that show Greg's hair in normal lab light;)
I haven't compared it to earlier episodes yet, but that may be my next project *g*

The caps are great, and regarding the ring, it is not the same one he has been wearing. The ring from before was a fleur de lis, and this one is a dragons's head.

I saw a screen cap and zoomed in on his ring. It definitely is a dragon's head. I can't remember the title of the episode, but it was the one where Nick tackles the guy in the park. He used to wear a ring on the middle finger of his right had, and then he got the fleur de lis ring. It's only been in season 11 that he has changed rings.

Yeah, I remember the ring on his middlefinger; I really liked that one, but he stopped wearing it after Stalker. I think it was in S4 that the big one with the fleur de lis first was spotted, but he didn't start wearing it all the time until later.

Yeah, I remember the ring on his middlefinger; I really liked that one, but he stopped wearing it after Stalker. I think ~that was why I pictured him always wearing a ring on that finger, even after he moved it to the next one.
Off-topic, but that wristband Nick used to sport seems MIA on recent eps. Thoughts?

I haven't noticed the lack of wristband, and it usually has my attention, because I'm dying to know if my theory about what's underneath is true *g*

I checked all the episode screencaps that I could find for this season. I didn’t find any with a good shot of Nick’s ring, but he was wearing his wristband in all of the season 11 eps (with the possible exception of S11E8 “Fracked” because I found no definitive shots of Nick in those).

I miss Nick’s original ring. I liked it much better than the big honkin’ flower. Maybe this new one is a commitment ring from Greg.

And it’s good to know that Nick is still wearing the wristband; proof that he’s still got that declaration of love for Greg tattooed on his wrist.

I’m happy with Greg’s hair now that it’s a little spiky rather than the “I’m a serious CSI and have to look the part” style he’s had the past few years.

And Nick’s hair??? The man is positively gorgeous and it should be a crime to shave that beautiful hair.

I adored his original ring and had to get used to the big one, but I think I like this new one already. Need to get a better shot of it though.

I'm with you on the wrist-tattoo. It's the only explanation for first that leather band with the Texas star on it and then the wider wristband for the last two years.

I love Greg's hair, will post some close ups of that later. I gave up on Nick's hair, I just imagine we can rub his head like Catherine did in Snakes:) But I wish he would grow it out, so we can see how grey it really is *grins*

Good call! It never dawned on me that the buzz cut might be a good way of hiding the grey. And it may do so, but rather than making him look younger, it makes him look like a middle-aged ultimate fighter wannabe. There’s no excuse for him taking that road when he’s got his own hair color expert in Greg.

I keep looking at Eric and has he lost weight? His face looks more sharp and there is something about his forehead that irks me. It may just be the lighting, makeup and stuff but something just seems odd. He still looks gorgeous and adorkable though!

I don't know if he lost weight, I'm not very good at judging that. Greg (Eric;) does seem to age backwards though; he looks as young or even younger than earlier seasons. I think he looks healthy:)

I'm quite used to Nick's buzzcut now and I don't mind it, but I keep hoping for the S6 hair, that was one of his best looks imo.

He is looking a tad too skinny already. I hope he is okay and that it is not something serious. If he loses anymore weight we'll force feed him indeed!
