S7Ep24 Living Doll
Don't let TPTB fool you; this scene is not about GSR at all. It's all about the only true couple on the show: our Nick and Greg. Really, we are not making this up. Check out the looks and then tell us what you think.

Greg: The doll’s still alive,

Greg: ...that means Sara’s still alive.

Nick: Generic stretch of desert.

Nick: She could be anywhere in a four-state radius.

[OS] Catherine: Let’s just focus on the details. There’s always something to go on.

[OS] Warrick: She has to make these in advance right? How do you plan a car wreck? There’s no way to know how the car’s gonna land.

[OS] Warrick: Unless you wrecked the car first and then put her under it.

Nick: I think I got a VIN number.

Greg: Give me the first six.

Nick: King-Sam-Victor 453.

Grissom: her name is Natalie Davis and she works for our janitorial service.
Warrick: What?
Catherine: Here? In the lab?

Grissom: For over a month. She’s never been arrested, so there’s nothing to flag on a security check.

[OS] Grissom: She used Ernie Dell’s address on her work form. She has no home phone and no driver’s license.

Greg: Okay, I got it. A 2007 red Mustang totaled outside the Tripwire Bar six weeks ago.

Greg: Driver fatality. DWI. Car went to scrap.

Greg: Lead CSI on the case, Sara Sidle.

Grissom: Pull up the case photos.

Grissom: My God. She was at the crime scene.

Nick: So, she salvages the car and somehow gets it out to the desert, then grabs Sara and puts her under it?

Warrick: I don’t get it. What does Sara have to do with bleach?

21.
[OS] Catherine: I don’t know. This just feels different.

[OS] Grissom: It is different.
{Greg is looking at Nick; he obviously gets why it is different; how would a serial killer hurt a CSI the most? By going after the one he loves. He's been there.}

{And when Grissom runs off, Nick gets it too.}


Did you too notice how it's just Nick and Greg on the case, even though the whole team is there? How the two of them keep working out clues while the others merely panic? They are so in synch with each other. That's shouts love to us;)

Hope you didn't forget about your exams all together;) How about making Nick and Greg a treat for after doing your homework? Maybe that's an insentive to study :-p

Hahaha! No I didn't; all my exams are done, and I believe I passed them all (hopefully!). That would've been an excellent idea though! I think I'll take your suggestion next semester. ;)

I love how determined and in-sync the boys are in this episode. You guys are right, they seem to relate to Grissom's pain quite easily. I also like that everyone looks at Grissom when he makes 'the big reveal' except for Greg, whose eyes immediately land on Nick. Granted he's supposed to already know about Sara and Grissom, but it's still a little telling that despite his closeness to Sara, his eyes keep seeking out Nick.

It is very telling that Greg's eyes keep seeking out Nick. After all, Greg has witnessed all that Nick has gone thru up to that point, and he knows all too well what Grissom is feeling. How could he not know?

Isn't it? At least Greg never had the guilt of knowing something was happening to his love in order to hurt him. I think that would kill him...whereas Nick would probably kill Greg's kidnapper. Hell, he punched 'Pig' without even knowing he was the guy he was angry with.

So very true! It really would destroy Greg. The guilt would eat at his insides until it destroyed the kooky guy we all fell in love with. And if someone was stupid enough to kidnap Greg, let's just say he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in Hell when Nick got hold of him.

They constantly keep contact with each other and seem to work apart from the rest of the group, even though they are all standing in the same room. Greg especially is very focused on actually doing something instead of speculating about what might have happened to Sara. Nick is clearly offering him a chance to do that, while at the same time not allowing Greg to get his hopes up. Just because he knows how important Sara is to Greg (we know Nick didn't have a clue about Grissom until now;)

You make some very good points. I also like that Greg seemed so determined to actually do something, he seemed much the same way during Grave Danger, only without quite so much confidence and focus. I'm guessing a combination of experience and the fact that was Nick before explains that. Definitely agree about Nick. ^_~
