Mod Moment
Apr. 10th, 2010 11:31 pmHello everyone,
We're still researching possible nominees for The All Time Favorite Nick and Greg Moment in the second half of season 4, so there will be no poll this weekend. :(
But do not take off your slash-goggles yet, there are some other things you can use them for!
If you haven't yet, you can still vote for your favorite moment in the following episodes:Poll Season 2, part 1: ep 1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 8 Poll Season 2, part 2: ep 9 / 11 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16 Poll Season 2, part 3: ep 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 / 21 / 23 Poll Season 4, part 1: ep 1 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 8
Fic Search?
Ever tried to find a fic, but no-one here remembered it? We are proud to announce a new affiliate to the community. If you are looking for a Nick/Greg fic you can broaden your search by x-posting in
csi_finder!
Speaking of fics... there is plenty to read: of course you already know to always keep an eye on the community for new fic. But you can also browse the community-tags, check recommendations or stroll through the Desert archives or the Nick/Greg corner in CSI-Slash.
Subtext is everything
If you enter our community through the frontdoor, you may have noticed our 'Quote of the moment' in the sidebar. It hasn't been changed in a while, so here's a challenge for you all: comment with your favorite Nick and Greg conversation and we may put it up there:)
And finally, whether you are still catching up on old episodes or if you're up to date, you are also always welcome to add comments in our Season 10 discussions and/or to walk down memory lane and talk about Classic Scenes With Nick And Greg!
Have a great weekend!

"Dude, I rip."
"We're 300 miles from the nearest beach."
"Surfing's just a state of mind."
-- Nick Stokes and Greg Sanders (And Then There Were None)
"Hey, man. What you eatin'?"
"Little college cuisine."
"That stuff will kill you, you know."
"Hasn't killed me yet."

Date: 2010-04-11 07:18 pm (UTC)Nick (points to the ceiling): There's something dead up there, Greg. And it's big, heavy and smells awful and one of us has to go up there and get it.
Greg: You know what? It's your birthday. (climbs into the ceiling to find a really decomposed body, turns to Nick) I'm keepin' that gift card.
"I told him you were a paisley man." (I'm definitely not quoting that 100% accurately, but it's from 9x16 and something like that.)
Fannysmacking --> "I can't stand this town" (again, got part of the quote wrong.)

Date: 2010-04-27 07:44 pm (UTC)I couldn't find the one in Fannysmackin' I think you are talking about the conversation between Nick and Warrick after Nick hit that taunting punk in the guts?
WARRICK: What are you doing? We beating people up now?
NICK: I'm sick of these punks, man. I'm serious, I'm sick of it.
WARRICK: Then you're in the wrong town.
NICK: Maybe.
So telling. *sighs sadly*

Date: 2010-04-13 04:16 pm (UTC)Greg: Is this the car the guy was killed in?
[Nick is clearly startled]
Nick: He was killed in the warehouse. And don't sneak up on a person like that!
Greg: Now you know how I feel, like ten times a day.
(Identity crisis)
Greg: Don't you ever goof off, huh? Do you ever get a little lost in life?
Nick: No.
Greg: Well, you should.
(Face lift)
Greg:I'm open 24 hours.
(A little murder)
