S8Ep12: Grissom's Divine Comedy
After having been absorbed in season two with The Search for The All Time Favorite Nick/Greg Moment* the past months, we're staying a little closer to the present for this week's classic. Here are a couple of scenes from a very memorable episode in Season 8...

Greg wrapped his head in a scarf because he has a cold. And who is that sneezing on the other end of the crime scene? Hmmm?

WARRICK: What are you doing, a catalog shoot? Where's your matching hat with your pom-pom?

GREG: Leave me alone. I have a cold.

(I'd really rather be in bed)

(And I know someone else who should be in bed with me)

NICK: Hatchoo!
CATHERINE: Gesundheit.

NICK: Thanks. Boy, I hope *I'm* not getting sick.

(But I'm already feeling as miserable as Greg)

(And I really wish I could go back to bed with him)

------LATER IN THE LAB------

Nick coughs.

Greg sees the burned car.

GREG: Wow. I bet it reeks in here.

NICK: I wouldn't know.

GREG: Thank God for stuffy noses.
(sounds more like "Bank Gob fod stubby doses";)

NICK: Yeah.


Ahw; they both have that sleepy/sick look in their eyes! We say they need to get back home and into bed as soon as possible;) So here is what should have happened next...

We could call in sick and go back to bed.

Greg, we have work to do!

I know, I was just saying I'd rather go home and snuggle up.

Me too, Greggo, but let's finish this first.

Okay. But I don't know how long I can hold on - Hatchoo!

Sniffle!

Cough!

Okay, that's it. We're going home.

Yeah. I definitely want to go back to bed. *mind wanders off*

Yes! God, I loved that episode! I always giggled like a schoolgirl when first sick!Greg comes up and then, almost like clockwork, Nick appears and is sick as well. And he hasn't shaved that morning! Probably was afraid to cut himself.

The question is who made whom sick ;)

I think it was Greg who got Nick sick. Nick, being the cuddle monster he is, wouldn't let Greg go and probably played the, 'I'm a macho man, I don't get sick' card. XD

Greg all wrapped up in his scarf is just too, too adorable.

There are a few “sick fic” that I was going to rec, but they were all at WMTDB. Unfortunately, when you click on the site, it now says “This Account Has Been Suspended.”

These are the only two “sick fic” links I have. If I find any more, I’ll pass them along.

The archives from What Makes The Desert Beautiful have been moved to a beta-site before the account was suspended: we updated the link in the sidebar (http://wmtdb.zero-creativity.net/beautiful/Default.aspx). All of the old fics should still be there and as far as I know you can still upload new stories.

We are currently trying to contact the maintainers of WMTDB to get an update on the situation.

I just love how you take screenshots of the scene, then add in your own stuff. That's totally how it should have happened!

I saw this listed, and thought 'Oh no, what are they going to say about Greg wearing a scarf?' Not to be mean to him, but I thought that bit was funny.
In the 12th shot you can really tell Nicky feels like crap. I think George did well (if he had to act sick that is).

And on another note, when Hodges later tells Nick about people in China wearing a mask so as to not get their coworkers sick, I laughed so much at that scene!

And I remember being on the internet, and reading a description someone had of how they thought the boys got sick. Now I can't remember if it was here, or not. So I'm going to dig through the ones people had listed, and if it's not in those, I think I know where to check.
