Not a word was spoken because Greg never noticed Nick walking by and strangely enough this short scene didn't add anything to the plot or casefile. Which makes it an even more significant moment between our guys, don't you think? Comment with your thoughts!

(Forgive me for repeating myself. This was also my choice for the last The All Time Favorite Nick and Greg Moment poll.)

This is an “It suddenly all made sense” moment for Nick. All the pieces came together and he realized that test results weren’t the only thing he wanted in the DNA lab. He knew why he went to Greg’s lab more often then he needed to and why he stayed longer than necessary. And it explained why he couldn’t last more than a few minutes without touching Greg.

I think what makes this moment even more powerful is that Greg is totally unaware of Nick’s presence. (Which usually doesn’t happen because of Greg’s finally tuned Nicky radar.)

I agree, and it seems especially endearing as he isn't being all touchy-feely like usual, despite nobody else being around to grin knowingly behind their backs! Aww, they really are just too cute, oblivious or not :D
