*gasp* There's a new episode tonight? Silly me thought that there wasn't going to be one until next week! Oh this news just made my day so much better!

I shall have a better/on-topic comment after I see tonight's episode. =]

Well, the CBS website is not very clear (I'm trying to avoid spoilers so I navigate carefully) but according to TV.com the new season continues tonight. I will join the discussion a little later, depending on when the episode becomes available to this side of the ocean (hope my trusty sources deliver fast, so I can watch this weekend;)

I liked the amount of screen time Greg got in last night's episode but there was no Nick and Greg interaction to speak of.

I was quite intrigued by Langton's refusal of a DNA comparison. I wonder what that was all about, I'm curious now. Though that final scene in the episode with Nick... I'm just gonna pretend he was having a conversation with Greg. Gotta stay optimistic!

I loved Greg's face when he commented "That's not even long enough for a quickie" :-)

Sadly no Nick/Greg interaction at all. That whole telephone conversation was made of lame and I'm just gonna disregard any significance whatsoever. Lalalalalala.

Oh me too! That made me giggle a lot. I was so glad to see some more joking from Greg! :D

It was lame, I'm going to try to disregard it as well.

Not a bad episode, lots of Nick and Greg screetme, but not a lot together, which is sad.

However, I did like at the end when Nick was chatting on the phone. I was glaring waiting for the moment he said what's-her-face's name... But it never came, so at least the vagueness is there, and the rest of us can say it's Greg he's talking to, haha.

That phone conversation was pointless. TPTB should know better.

Little disappointed, there was very little G and N action. I don't even think they were in 1 scene together.

But looking past that, the epi was still quite good, I quite enjoyed it. Very excited to see where they go with the Dr. Jekyll maniac, and next week looks pretty interesting as well.

Overall, would have loved more N and G, but I guess we can't win 'em all. Just keeping fingers crossed for future episodes.

Oh...I remember, there was one little bit at the end that made me a little more sad about n/g...although if you take it out of context (which is was we do best) than it could be seen as Nick/Greg. Won't say it to give away spoilers, but it was at the very end. Sorry if I'm being very cryptic and not making sence! lol

I know exactly what you are talking about! There were rumors a while ago that they were going to do that, but then a few episodes went by with nothing so I stopped worrying about it. It made me quite sad.

Ya, same. I totally forgot about it, and then they subtly included that in tonights epi.

Crafty little buggers these writers are! If we squint really hard we can pretend it was Greg though ;) lol

I believe my exact words to my husband during that scene were: "He's talking to Greg! Greg is not in the scene, therefore he is talking to Greg!!" I think there was some measure of desperation in my voice. :/

I couldn't watch the episode yesterday but I'm reading some comments about that little bit at the end. When Nick was on the phone, there was any clear indication that he was talking to a woman? Or they left it ambiguous?

Hello anonymous. Vague phoneconversation was vague. Personally I'm dismissing it completely;)

Haha I like your reasoning! Greg was not in the scene, so by our reasoning he MUST have been taking to Greg. There's just no other explanation...'cause Nick has no other friends outside of his lab friends, yea that's right. Lol

You are right: they didn't share the same space once.

But the guys both did a good job. Greg especially looked mighty fine doing it. Too bad they didn't work together, but like you said: we can't be that lucky all the time:) We've been having such a great season N/G wise so far, I don't care whatever 'subtle' sideplots TPTB come up with. I only wish they had learned by now to leave the relationship stuff to the fans and not try to hit us over the head with it. It's a CRIME show not a soap opera, dammit.

No need to be cryptic about the episode we're discussing;) I bet we were all thinking about it and coming up with alternative options to the worst case scenario as we watched. Nick could have been talking about some purchase he made on the internet whereby he didn't mind going over to the seller's place to get the goods. Or something. *grins*

Haha, I love your idea of who Nick was talking to. Nick could have bought something for Greg off of ebay, and he had to go pick it up from the seller, it makes perfect sence, muahaha.

hahah, I love our minds! We come up with the best observations! <3

It seems like ages since the last new ep aired.

Although I would have preferred to see Nick and Greg working together, I’m happy they were both in this ep and that Greg is getting significantly more screen time than last season.

Greg and Catherine worked well together and there was no sign of him being treated as a lab refugee in a CSI vest. Looks like he’s finally made it.

Nick looked delicious, as always, but Greg looked exceptionally good this week. His hair was a tiny bit longer and it looked as though there was a bit of smudged liner highlighting his eyes and a bit of color on those pouty lips. Sort of an updated version of early Greg.

No spoilers or speculation, but I must admit that I am curious about Langston’s aversion to DNA and that snippet we heard of Nick’s phone conversation at the end.

Yes, I noticed the eye-liner as well. I approve;) Greg was pretty awesome both in appearances and on the job. I especially like his face when he was talking to the drunk, smelly guy and his knowledge on the amount of time "that's not even enough for a quickie".

There have been other 'subtle' and more or less suspicious hints about Langston's behavior. In a previous episode he introduced himself as 'Dr. Death' to a suspect. Which I thought was strange. I'm as curious as you are to see where this may lead.

Nick's phone conversation felt like another one of those set-ups that TPTB love so much. In the past some of these ideas never got a thorough follow up (Warrick's wife anyone?) and I'm hoping they are gonna let this one go as well. As far as I'm concerned Nick only has time for Greg, next to his all important job.
I liked that he even refered to himself as 'a hero' to Langston, while we have known him to have a hero-complex for years:)

"I especially like his face when he was talking to the drunk, smelly guy.."

Did you know the guy who played him is actually one of the CSI writers, I totally cracked up when I saw him!

Anyway,I enjoyed the episode, even though Nick and Greg weren't in any scenes together but Nick was obviously on the phone with Greg in the end. There's just no other possible option. ;) (Or it's just some random thing the writers like to do, anyone remember Greg's phonecall when Nick walked in in season one. Nothing ever happened there.)
