A/N: I have never written for CSI before. I joined this community four minutes ago. This is very short. It has also probably been done before.

Nick likes it when Greg's awake, bright eyes and beaming idiosyncrasies, obscure jokes and musical references and in constant motion. Like a hummingbird, except maybe not so delicate, twisting with music in the lab (and with his own breath when he's under him). There's fire in his eyes, muted but lusty, thirstingquesting for information (of the useful sort and the not-so-much as well) and sometimes Nick has to wonder what ever made him fall so hard for the lab geek in the first place.
