Of course, this was angst I obviously did not need because I'm in a ridiculously silly mood that won't go away quite yet. And I know this was very sad, and I felt really bad for Nick (and who wouldn't if they lost Greg?).

But I must point out the intermittent use of Greg-chan and usagi-chan had me thinking "bishounen shi/esu/ai gureggu sandaasu" - short skirt, boots, and all. Oh my god, I'm so twisted and perverted. But I feel a little better knowing that Eric wore a skirt before.

Still...and I thought of Nick being Tuxdeo Mask...oh my lord - I know this was supposed to be a sad story (and it is) but I can't stop cracking up about that image. And Grissom and Catherine as Artemis and Luna.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.

Anyway, yes :regains composure: the torture was awful and painful to read - and with the whole head being cut off thing. Poor Greg, he didn't have anyone with him. But I'm glad you portrayed him as a little trooper and not easily giving in. Though, I suppose that's worse when considering that his hopes were shattered.

And on a cultural note : The "chan" suffix is more prominent for girls (between friends), but it can also be used for little kids (sometimes by little kids, depending on the situation); for people in that "daisuki" type of relationship because "aishiteiru" (or whatever form it's in) is rarely used in a social context.

:goes to curl up in a corner:
