It's that time of the month again! Before I get to the new challenge I just want to thank everyone that took part in the September challenge, and remind you all that you can still post fics from that challenge, or indeed any previous challenge, there's no time limits on when you can post them.

And so on to the next prompt. In honour of October and Halloween, this month's prompt is:

Things that go bump in the night

Of course, that prompt could mean something else entirely if you get my drift. *nudge nudge wink wink*

Once again the fic can be any length, any rating and any genre. Interpret the challenge in any way you want.
