ART - Birthday!

Okay, after hearing good news concerning my exam I had today, I went and doodled like crazy :D I also had to take some time off, since I went into overdrive with math yesterday :P I havent drawn the realistic one yet, maybe in a week or so :D

I also experimented on the style (actually I only filtered outline with remove noise so it looks soft now), tell me what you think, were the earlier versions better?

anyway here's art, based on The Day before you by Maggs :3

Warnings: nudity in a funny way (uh... I wonder, am I allowed to post art like this? or if these are acceptable...how 'bout mature semi-realism then? :D)

( I went and checked the ending from Sixteen candles, hehe)

Thank you!! The birthday cake one is EXACTLY what I envisioned in the chapter. Thanks for checking the movie! (Psst - the only thing that's missing is one lit candle in the center of the cake.) I adore the expression on Greg's face! It totally captures him thinking of what to wish for and then realizing he has everything. And I love how you have Nick looking at Greg like he's so in love! Perfect!

The second one...very skillfully done, but I have to be honest and say I have a hard time getting past these type of cartoon characters in sexual situations (not just yours, ANY cartoon drawn characters). The cute situations are BEYOND adorable to me, but when I see the sexy ones I tend to think the characters look too innocent to be in that situation. I think it's because I'm not immersed in anime stuff. It's typical in anime to have adult characters in adult situations even though they look like young cartoon characters, right? OMG - how clueless do I sound asking that anime question? LOL I'm showing my age!

haha the moment I saw the first one I was like OMG!1! Sixteen Candles hahaha and started laughing manicly... I don't know why it delighted me so but it did.

I like this look it's softer and cleaner in a way... yeah?

The second one... I liked it alot... but obviously in a different way. >8) love the looks on both of thier faces.
