That damn smile. It was so freaking contagious. I can be having the day from hell but as soon as I see his smile, I smile, too. That's my favorite thing about the young labrat. Greg doesn't seem to realize this though. He doesn't realize that I'm wrapped around his finger. He doesn't realize that I love him.

For the past two years now, I've flirted with him. It's been on the tip of my tongue to tell him my feelings several times. But I proably never will. He's my best friend and I don't want to lose him. He's the best thing that's happen to me.

So for now, I'll just torture myself with my fantasies that'll never come true. The fantasies where I come into the lab and kiss him passionately and he kisses me back. The fantasies where we have hot make-out sessions in the empty locker room. The fantasies where I come home to him after work and we just cuddle and talk. I'll torture myself with the thought that I'm in love with my best friend.

Recently everyone keeps coming up to me and asking why I never have a girlfriend anymore. Sara is the only one who knows the truth. She came up to me one day and asked me if I was gay. I told her no, which is true. She asked me why I keep flirting with Greg. I looked at her and said that I wasn't straight, gay, or bi, I was in love with Greg. Plain and simple. That was the first time I admitted it to myself or anyone.

She keeps trying to get me to tell him. I tell her I'm never going to and everytime she threatens to tell him herself. She has yet to though, but as I walk into the lab I realize something's different. Oh my God. She actually told him. I turn to walk out and he grabs me. "Wait Nick," he says softly. I turn to face him.

"You love me?"

"Yes. I'm sorry"

"Don't be. I love you, too," he whispers as he kisses me.

Hello, just poking my head in to say hello, just found this site thanks to Sillie, and I must say I am definately hoping for more to. Nick/Greg is my first slash/ship, and I just cannot get enough of them. I love the insecure Nick fics,he's so cute. Can't wait to read more from you.
