Title: It’s not a little secret

Summary: They really thought they were being secretive… But they couldn’t be more obvious. (A short drabble)

A/N: I wrote this before my exams- it worked to calm my nerves and I thought I might as well post it here for your reviewing pleasure. 

A casual touch here; a whispered word there- somehow that would go unnoticed by everyone in the vicinity.

 

Quick little glances; communicating without even a word- somehow that didn’t mean they were any closer than friends.

 

No longer going out after work; just wanting to go home- somehow that wouldn’t mean they were obviously seeing someone.

 

Different looks in their eyes; a new little glow- somehow that didn’t mean that they’d found something to justify their lives.

 

Intensity that was unfathomable; electricity in the air- somehow that wasn’t really an attraction, that was their imaginations.

 

A quick kiss in the break-room; everyone could see- somehow that meant it was not a little secret anymore.
