I've gone crazy, and wrote, a drabble. I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so we have five variations.

notes: If memory serves, [livejournal.com profile] nekosmuse set up a post apocalptyic challenge. I can't even remember if there were specifics or not, but I just have it on my list to write. Here we go...

Sometimes, a touch or a smell would trigger an old memory. They were faint, hazy and didn't last long as they flickered in front of his saddened eyes. It was a nice departure from this nothingness. When he actually slept, which was rather rare, there wouldn't be as many nightmares as there was feverish, silly, hopeless, romantic dreams. Dreams of a time when the world wasn't in fiery shambles. He knew he was a dreamer before This Happened, and he guessed he still was. The one memory that he liked the most, the one that played the most, didn't have a picture to go with it. It was only a voice; a slow, southern, honey voice that rang through his one good ear.

"I love you, Greg."

If only he could remember who Greg was.

There is also a Speed/Tyler, Speed/Delko, Danny/Martin and Sirius/Remus variation.

Totally spamming the flist.
