Summary: When you go under, you can let yourself drown or fight to stay alive. AU angst with a twist. Nick/Greg.

Do I dare say that this was a character death fic with a somewhat happy ending? I really, really liked the way you wrote this----you caught Greg's angst, and the part about the spider was a neat little touch. Are you planning to add to this, or leave it as is? Thanks for sharing another great fic!!

First of all, I hope there wasn't a spider in the shower with you when this plot bunny hit, because that would kind of suck. Unless you like spiders, in which case, that's not so bad.

That's so sad, but it's one of the few happy examples of someone taking the idea that the one they loved would want them to live life to the fullest and doing it. It still made me cry, but it left me with a fuzzy feeling of hope. As always with your works, it was awesome! And awesomely written!
