Here is something I came up with in about ten min. and is my first time doing anything but fluff so  tell what you think ^-^

Trip. Fall. Must get up.

Run. Run. Run.

Pant. Gasp. Found the road.

Run. Run. Run.

Hard steady ground now.

Run. Run. Run.

Pant. Gasp. House up ahead.

Run. Run. Run.

Crash. Curse. Keep going.

Run. Run. Run.

Pant. Gasp. Almost there.

Run. Run. Run.

Feet on pavement behind you.

Run. Run. Run.

Pant. Gasp. Few more steps.

Run. Run. Run.

Go a little faster.

Run. Run. Run.

Pant. Gasp. Don’t look back.

Run. Run. Run.

Danger. Danger. Danger.

Run. Run. Run.

Hand and shoulder meet.

Run. Run. Run no more.

Pant. Gasp. Turned around.

Scream. Scream. Scream.

Wake up. Only a dream.

 

 

He looks over to his lover glad he did not wake him up this time. He sighs; these dreams are becoming more frequent lately. He thought he was past it. He sighs again as he lays back down and jumps when he feels an arm around him. His lover  nuzzles  his neck and tells him it is ok. But he is not sure that it will ever be ok again.
