Sloganizer Drabbles!
Jun. 25th, 2005 10:34 pmHere are two drabbles I wrote based off the wonderful Sloganizer. The Sloganizer statement is in quotes at the beginning.
“I’d sleep with Nick and Greg”
Hodges watched Nick and Greg make their way down the hall. Ever since they had told the lab about their relationship he had been a little irritated. He prided himself on knowing everything that happened in the crime lab, and the fact that he had missed this really got his boxers in a bunch. At the time he had comforted himself with the fact that at least he would be able to join in the gossip about them that was sure to follow. The thing was that there hadn’t been any gossip, not yet. In fact, everyone seemed to be happy for them. That really puzzled Hodges, but as he watched them walk out the doors, into the lobby, he realized why everyone seemed to be so supportive, “Hell, even I would sleep with Nick and Greg”, he muttered to himself.
“Nick and Greg never sleeps”
Greg looked at the coffee cup in his hand. What number was that for the night? Eight? Nine? He had lost count. Ever since the shift split he had been getting less and less sleep. Greg thought he would never get tired of coffee, but he was damn close. He thought about Nick, at home, surely sleeping. “Bastard,” he thought. Then he pictured how Nick would look when he got home, tangled in the sheets, hair rumpled from sleep. He imagined waking Nick up with soft kisses all over his naked chest, slowly making his way lower and lower until he heard Nick’s breath quicken, signaling he was awake. Greg imagined stripping off his clothes and joining Nick in bed, taking pleasure in the warm feeling of Nick’s skin against his. Yeah, maybe Nick was sleeping right now, but Nick and Greg together never slept, and Greg would endure endless amounts of coffee for that.
