Yay, tonight the new season of CSI actually continues! It's time for part two and hopefully we can have another fun talk in the comments afterwards, because it sure was great to see y'all there for the premiere two weeks ago!

Remember that whatever happens in canon, it's up to fandom to make sure our guys get the love they deserve;) So let's get together and swoon about scenes between Nick and Greg or rant about the lack thereof. oh the scene when Sara, Nick, and Greg pulled up, I was kind of wishing it was just the boys, but it was nice to see they were joking and at ease with each other, it's been a while since we've seen that.
Then when Greg got stuck in the freezer, I REALLY wanted him to call Nick, to come and get him out, that would have been perfect, but no he called Finn.....-_- ruin my hopes....shame they weren't in any scenes together after that....but I'm sure Greg was there for Nick, after it was all over. I'm sure Sara would be included too, since it's only the three of them left from the original 6 CSIs

Agh! Me too! At first I was like, "GREG AND NICK ON A DATE!" and then I realized they weren't alone. Still a good little moment though.

I have to add that I was all bummed out about Frank's Diner being the subject of this episode though. So many great fanfics have a scene there, haha, I kind of associate it with Nick and Greg sharing their feelings. :P

My favorite part was in the beginning when they were fighting about the chilaquiles. It sounded like a fight they've had many times before and probably the way they fight about a lot of things. :)

And I have a feeling that once the case was over, I like to think that they comforted each other at home about their lost friends too.

Yeah it was cute, even with company
:D I was sort of excited, considering it's not in many episodes, then got sad because that's where they all used to hang out. I kind of got mad when Finn came in and had them leave, I was like, "This is not your place! You are not part of the team yet!"

I loved the beginning, very reminiscent of the vibe from Rashomama; I so adore it when we get back to familiar places. Nick and Greg discussing food is also a favorite of mine;)
Can anyone name other episode in which the diner was an actual feature?

I liked that Nick took the lead on the case. I'm trying to ignore that all of a sudden the 'blood specialist' got to boss the others around. (Don't get me wrong, I like her, but I do not approve of these power dynamics, hrmpf) Greg's response to that was brilliant. I may have yelled at him when he went in that freezer though.

Good case, good subtext.
