S9Ep06 Say Uncle
After last week's long leisurely walk through memory lane which resulted in a massive amount of reminiscing in the comments, we're doing a quicky this week. It's short but VERY sweet. And you're gonna want to sit down after this one;)

Nick: Park Bang left Dempsey’s department store around 4 p.m. with a shopping bag full of stuff his uncle just bought him.

Nick: The shooting occurred here about half an hour later.

Nick: That is only a couple of blocks away.

Nick: The uncle doesn’t have a car so they probably walked, using one of these routes.

Nick: What’s on that receipt again?
[OS] Riley: A t-shirt, novelty sunglasses, crunchies, double fudge, fruit funzies and nutty cups.

Greg: Nothing says 'I love you' like processed sugar.

Wait. What? REWIND<<<

Ahw. Greg-go. *chinhands*

Let's just watch the rest of this scene without subtitles. We admit Nick continues talking about the case, but his body language tells a different story. Sometimes we wonder if the sub from subtext stands for subtle *g*
Also: look at Riley's face!

Whoa. That is one very significant look and remark from Greg, not to mention Nick's telling response. Surely you can all discuss this as in depth as the previous classic;) Plus we totally expect follow up fic... Ready? Set. Go!

Greg should know about the processed sugar. Nick loads up on junk food and brings it home to Greg so they can have what Nick calls "hyper-sex". He loves it when Greg can't stay still in bed!

Oh my goodness, that cracked me up so much it spawned a coughing fit (I'm recovering from illness)..."hyper-sex"! ^_^ I could so see Nick doing that (and Greg enjoying it immensely).

I love the looks and body language in this episode. The boys have certainly turned subtext into an art, especially Greg. That hidden 'I love you' is adorable (and so clear without being blatantly obvious. You can completely see that the boys are having a different conversation than the one on the surface...Riley certainly can. ^_^ Her expression in that last scene is great.

It's true! Nick will mention something about going to the grocery store, and Greg will say something about being out of his favorite snack cakes, his favorite cereal, etc., and Nick will buy extra...LMAO
Of course, Greg pays the price for his overindulgence in sugar with a tummy ache!

It is, isn't it? lol, oh yeah...that's got the plot bunnies rioting.
So does Nick, I would imagine. At least Greg already has excess energy...Nick has to eat even more sugar just to catch up to him first!

You know, on the show, it's always been said that Nick didn't like candy, or drink sodas, or eat junk food. That's a lie! They don't know about the stash of stuff he keeps in his desk at work to get a head start on Greg sometimes.....LMAO, Jaxson;)

I didn't even notice Riley's face until I made the screencaps (I was still squeeing over what Greg said:) - but her expressions really add to the subtext. I love Greg's sweet little smile and you can see Nick holding his breath. It's a glorious moment:)
