Good episode. I enjoyed the fact it was the whole team in my opinion. I liked how they were at Ray's and Nick and Greg were standing next to each other. Now I know that posting says no spoilers but I have to know. I watched the previews for next week and is it just me was the Greg who got shot. Because it certainly looked like him from the back.

I don't think it was Greg getting shot.....but I'm not saying anything else unless we are allowed to.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to next week's episode...that preview was rather...disconcerting.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks Greg totally 'borrowed' one of Nick's shirts! I mean, that red plaid button-down he was rockin is way more cowboyish than Greg's typical wardrobe XD

They probably slept late at Nick’s place. Greg didn’t have time to go home before work so he had to make due.

Agreed. But it did look like someone...equally important?

Yay! Both boys had a good amount of screen time. I like that the team pulled together as they did in the early years.

I’ve really enjoyed the last few episodes. It’s wonderful to see the return of Nick and Greg’s original personalities. Nick has found the balance between being supervisor and still being one of the guys and Greg is professional, but much more relaxed.

Looks like TPTB are finally getting it right (again).

Nick and Greg both looked great tonight. I much prefer this look on Nick than the beefed-up buzz cut image he had a while back. That man gets better looking all the time.

I love the return of Greg’s brighter colors and patterns in clothing. He looked fantastic, but the tucked in shirt threw me. I don’t ever recall seeing him with his shirt tucked in like that.

Yes, but something so...western? We all know Nick has some normal (if not unusally tight XD) t-shirts, so why not just borrow one of those? Aww, boys, you are so obvious :D It's cute though

Perhaps the tucked in shirt was Greg's way of balancing out the brighter colors and patterns...sort of a blend between his happy/innocent personality and his more mature side, you know? Either that, or it was too big for his frame and he tucked it in to hide the fact. I've done that before.

hahaha, love the wording. Yes I agree too, it did look like someone equally important. But the csi promos always tend to show us one direction, and then veer in completely the opposite, so who knows!

Maybe it really was Greg’s shirt and he was wearing it as a subtle reminder that it was time they played naked cowboys again.

I think the former is probably right. When I saw it, I thought he looked like an updated and more mature version of wild shirt Greg. It just took me by surprise after several years of seeing him with long shirts hanging out from under his vest.

I'm going to scream if the CSI that gets shot is the one I think it is! I swear i will stop watching the show!

Plus I have a theory as to who the Dr.Jekyll killer is.... I think its someone we know (Or at least have seen before)... that's all I'm saying. My gf thinks i'm nuts with my theory but...

I did enjoy the show. It kept me on the edge of my seat.

There were a few N/G moments (Not many) but a few looks and comments that were great.

Just for future reference: not everyone can (or wants to) watch the previews for the next episode. So yes: the no spoiler rule goes for those as well! If you do want to talk about it you are free to make a post in which you clearly make a warning before you put your question behind an lj-cut.

I'm so glad I didn't know about any of this before I started watching both episodes in one double feature. Eeep. (and pfew;)

    {Re-reading discussion posts, after watching the episodes being re-run!}

Oh totally agree with you on that - definitely one of Nick's shirts, with the sleeves rolled up because Greg's arms aren't as long (I'm assuming)!

Also, at the end of the episode, with everyone at the club having their drinks; Greg had the gayest drink of all with that appletini. :-X

I'll go back into my hiding place now.... lol

I know, I totally cracked up at their drinks - everyone else had beers & whatnot. Except Greg :D (And yeah, it was being pretty loud, even I heard it :P)

I'm tracking these discussions (for eternity!) and want to thank you for luring me back to this episode. Had to check the shirt and drink. You are right on both counts.

I have no knowledge on the subject of alcohol, but that was a very colourful and -dare I say it- sexy drink in front of Greg. I also noticed comfy closeness to Nick and the sharing of some sweet looks.

    Ahw. Already a classic episode.

    Glad you like it.

I think they would make great cowboys. I can easily envision Texas Ranger Nick and Outlaw Greg finding creative ways to stay warm on those lonely Texas nights.

Oh indeed - Greg certainly has a bit of a cowboy fetish, and Nick would be more than happy to indulge him! (And if Texas Ranger Nick / Outlaw Greg hasn't been written yet - someone needs to get on it!)

These aren’t Texas Ranger and the Outlaw stories, but they are great western themed/hot cowboy fics. They’re part of the Masquerade2X series.

History Boyz - Part A is the story of Nick the Rancher and Greg, his outlaw lover.
    http://community.livejournal.com/masqueradex2/10976.html

Cow Boyz is the story of a lonely ranch owner (Nick), and the young stranger (Greg) who’s good with a six-shooter (and other things as well).
    http://catlover2x.livejournal.com/28649.html

Rodeo Boyz is the story of a Bull Riding Champion (Nick) and the spirited newcomer to the rodeo.
    http://catlover2x.livejournal.com/38851.html

    Enjoy!

Yep - that was certainly a colorful (like Greg) drink! Their closeness and sweet looks are also very good things - it all makes me a very happy girl.
