He had never been in love. Never taken a ride on that roller coaster; never felt the doubts and fears, never felt all hot and desperate.

He liked lots of the women he dated. They had a good time together. He was always a kind lover, considerate in bed and courteous on a date. He always called when he said he would.

When he had sex it was warm and comforting and sometimes he just needed the release but there was something...

His mother smiled at him and said when you meet the right one you'll know it.

Who's the new guy, he wondered when he first saw the wide shoulders, slim hips gyrating to loud music, and messy hair bent over the microscope.

The man looked up – and he looked into big, deep brown eyes.

Eyes that were intelligent, goofy, humorous, sad, knowing, innocent, fun, serious, adventurous and safe all at the same time.

And for the first time Nick was on fire.

Yeah, for sure. Greg destroys everything Nick's ever learned about structure, and it's scary and strange, but Nicky's drawn to it. It's lovely. :D
