To help you remember, here is another one of the nominated scenes: Greg has his own personal stash, Nick has an itch...


GRISSOM: Did you try this coffee?
NICK: Mm-mmm. [Translation: Nope]


GREG: Oh, don't touch it.


GREG: That's my pot!


GRISSOM: Your pot?


GREG: Yeah, you know, from my own private stash.
Blue Hawaiian -- $40 a pound.


GREG: Only grown a couple times a year on the Big Island hand-picked to perfection.


GRISSOM: Good. ...


GRISSOM: ... You're using my water so I guess that makes it community coffee. You want a cup, Nick?


NICK: No, thanks.

>GRISSOM: What's the matter with your leg?


>NICK: I don't know, man. Something back at that house must have bit me.

GREG: Oh, is that alcohol on a bug bite?


GREG: That's like butter on burns, man. Wives' tale.


NICK: Yeah, this is the guy who told me to ...


NICK: ... put hemorrhoid cream on my acne.


GREG: It worked, didn't it?









So when did Nick and Greg have that hemorrhoids-cream discussion? And WHY? o_O
On a less intimate note: we know this scene inspired fandom to take Greg's appreciation of quality coffee to the limit. Here are a couple of coffee-related stories we found:

Hahaha! I've always found the interactions between Greg and Grissom to be hilarious and this is one of my favourite scenes between them. That aside, someone should really write the hemorrhoid cream discussion between Nick and Greg! I'd love to see where people could take it.

Man, gotta say it looks like he spent more money on coffee than on shirts back in the day! Not to diss his eccentric lab rat style, but, hello? Ever heard of fitted? That baggy look is sooo not workin for him. Loved the reference to their personal convo though :D

And yesssssss, Nick's arms are amazing in this scene. He looks so good in black. And even though I don't particularly LOVE Greg's hair in this episode, he is freaking adorable. Too adorable. It isn't fair.

I know - same here! I'd love to see him just take one day to be a slacker again... band t-shirt, baggy jeans and mussed-up hair (maybe some post-fun with Nicky bedhead sort of hair!?)

And speaking of old wives tales, Greg should have stayed on that road and told Nick the old one that having sex is a sure way to clear acne (and then end with an offer to help Nick in the clearing.)
