Title: Stay With Me

Summary: What happens to Greg after "Grave Danger".
Warnings: Unbetaed becuz I wrote it in thirty mins. Spoilers for "Grave Danger."

Greg sat in the locker room with his head in his hands. Warrick walked past the room and then turned seeing Greg's shaking body.

"Greg?" Warrick said slowly walking over to him. Greg wiped his eyes quickly and then looked up at him.

"How's he doing?" Greg said his voice as even as he could make it. Warrick sat down next to him and put his arm around Greg's shoulder. The younger man flinched.

"Greg, what I said earlier. I'm sorry, I was just upset about Nicky." Greg moved away from Warrick then and got up. He opened his locker and pulled on his jacket.

"Don't worry about it." Greg said slamming his locker and was about to be walking out but was stopped by Catherine.

"Greggie..." She said slowly.

"I just want to go home." Greg begged trying to push past her. She put her arms around Greg and held him close but he was struggling to get away.

"Greg. You need to talk to somebody. Nick is being taken care of right now. He is fine. Nick..."

"SHUT UP!!!!" Greg screamed at the top of his lungs and crumbled into a pile of shaking flesh on the floor. Catherine looked at Warrick. He got up and walked over to the kid that was his best friend's lover.

"Talk to us." Warrick said as him and Catherine sat down next to Greg.

"I don't want to talk. I want to go home." He chocked miserably. Catherine reached out to touch him but he moved away. Warrick sighed.

"Greg, Nick is going to me fine. Nick loves..."

"Stop saying his name." Greg growled. "You don't understand. He'll realize that I'm not worthy enough for him. He'll realize that I'm not what he wants now. He will leave me."

"Greg! That will never happen, babe." Cathrine said gathering the new CSI in her arms. He did not try to run this time. He just cried hard and his body shook. Warrick patted his back slowly and massaged his neck gently.

"He will. He will see that he wants a family and kids and a woman. God, he'll want a woman. A blond or brunette, maybe even a red head. She will be beautiful and skinny and love him so much and..." Cathrine held the rambling young man close to him and cried softly as Warrick wrapped his arms around both of them. Cathrine has watched Greg the whole time when she wasn't thinking about Nick. He seemed so distant the whole time but she had caught his tears falling several times. The thing that got her the most was the way he had looked when they hauled Nick away.

"He will be okay and he will love you. Because he loves you now." Cathrine said smiling as her tears slowed. Warrick reached inside his pocket and pulled out the tape recorder that Nick had.

"Greg, I wasn't going to let you listen to this until after we processed it but I really think you need to listen." Greg looked at the tape recorder in the plastic bag and sighed. Warrick pushed play through the bag.

"Grissom, " Nick's voice was cracking, "I never meant to disappoint you."

"He never disappointed anyone." Catherine said slowly. The tape still played on and Greg looked at Warrick.

"What?"

"Shhh...just listen." The tape clicked then clicked on again.

"Greg...I want to tell you." Nick's voice was cracking hard and tears could be heard in his voice. "I wanted to tell you that...God baby, you have no idea how hard this is for me. I never thought it would end like this. I..I..God.." Panic breaths are heard and Greg was shaking again.

"Warrick turn it off." Cathrine said looking down at Greg as she ran her fingers through his hair.

"Wait."

"Oh...Warrick. I know you will be listening to every bit of this tape because well that's how you are. Looking for a clue, anything. You were always the better CSI. I'm glad it was me not you. Please Warrick, tell Catherine you love her and how much she means to you and buddy. Take care of my baby, Take care of Greggo for me. He needs someone. Tell...tell him I love him." The tape clicked off and Greg sighed laying his head on Cathrine chest. He was asleep soon and Cathrine sighed as looked at Warrick.

"Warrick..."

"Cathrine, I love you and you mean so much to me." He blurted out before he had time to think. She smiled and kissed his lips.

"We need to get him home." She said looking down at Greg. Warrick shook his head.

"Let's take him to the hospital. He will be happier if he is near Nick." Warrick bent down and helped Cathrine get Greg up. They laid him in the back seat and drove to the hospital. Warrick put had Greg lean on him as they made their way to the ICU where Nick was being held. Nick was asleep in his bed.

"Are we going to leave him here?" Cathrine asked.

"Yeah." Warrick said walking away.

Nick woke to the most beautiful sight in his life. His one true love was holding his hand in his, His hair was sticking into the bed because he was sleeping with it their. Nick sighed and ran his fingers through it. He was hurting, god was he hurting but right now, he just wanted to talk to his boyfriend.

"Greggo?" He said testing his voice. He head moved moaning a little. His eyes opened and he looked at Nick.

"Nicky." Greg said sweetly running a hand down Nick's cheek.

"I thought about you the whole time." Nick confessed as he watched the tears fall down Greg's cheeks.

"Shhh, love. That is behind us." Greg said smiling and kissed Nick's lips gently.

"I love you so much, G." Nick said feeling his tears burning, threatening to show themselves.

"I love you too." Greg said squeezing Nick's hand.

"Stay with me forever." Nick begged looking into Greg's eyes.
