I haven't started on The Everlasting yet, but I just finished 'Because I Want You' and that was amazing. (I haven't been reading anything online for a while, but that story grabbed me and I had to finish it in one session) Wow, for the angst and pfew for the ending. I am a bit anxious to start on this sequel, but I sure am glad I'm gonna be able to read the whole thing;) Will be back with comment;)

Done! And I think I owe you a little review of the complete series (if you don't want it, just ignore it;)

I liked 'Because I want you', it was kind of a pressure-cooker of a story: all of Nick's feelings exploding at once. And despite his brutal awakening -coming out at his age was a bit of a stretch in my opinion- you still managed to keep the guys in character. I loved their conversations and like I said before: the story grabbed me and I just had to finish it:)

So I was curious how their relationship would develop in 'The Everlasting' and it was yet another hell of a ride for the guys. I mentioned I felt a bit anxious to start on The Everlasting: that was because I feared you were going to end it with a ceremony... and you did. That's okay of course, but not really my thing*, so I have to admit I kind of skipped over the last chapter(s;) But the stuff you put them through before they got there: wow -again:) I admire the original characters and the intriguing developments you created in Nick's family.
All in all it was a very interesting journey: job well done:-)

*oh and I don't want to be misunderstood: it's not the fact that it was a same-sex 'wedding'-ceremony that I didn't like, I just have issues with the institution of marriage in general;) (I'm happy and proud to live in a country where they could get married for real:)

Thanks for your comment. I knew that ending this with a commitment ceremony wasn't going to be to everyone's tastes, but if you cast your mind back to BIWY it was what Greg wanted, to be 'married' and have kids someday, and he wanted that with Nick. And as this was the story finally ending, I wanted to give him what he was yearning for. But I appreciate your honesty, thanks for reading =)
*I guess being very happily married myself means I have a slightly rose-tinted view of the whole institution perhaps =D*
