Date: 2006-05-30 09:39 pm (UTC)I liked 'Because I want you', it was kind of a pressure-cooker of a story: all of Nick's feelings exploding at once. And despite his brutal awakening -coming out at his age was a bit of a stretch in my opinion- you still managed to keep the guys in character. I loved their conversations and like I said before: the story grabbed me and I just had to finish it:)
So I was curious how their relationship would develop in 'The Everlasting' and it was yet another hell of a ride for the guys. I mentioned I felt a bit anxious to start on The Everlasting: that was because I feared you were going to end it with a ceremony... and you did. That's okay of course, but not really my thing*, so I have to admit I kind of skipped over the last chapter(s;) But the stuff you put them through before they got there: wow -again:) I admire the original characters and the intriguing developments you created in Nick's family.
All in all it was a very interesting journey: job well done:-)
*oh and I don't want to be misunderstood: it's not the fact that it was a same-sex 'wedding'-ceremony that I didn't like, I just have issues with the institution of marriage in general;) (I'm happy and proud to live in a country where they could get married for real:)
